These are some of the best and most informative videos on KZbin Thanks for taking the time to put these videos out there. I found the YF-23 and F-14 videos to be amazing I wish I hadn't have found this channel during finals week because I cant stop watching.

Roger that.... I've sifted thru every SR video as well, and Peninsula Seniors have some of the best. Ditto on all the other lectures they've posted... WWII aircraft, the U-2, A-12, Century Series fighters, and all the rest.

I was in high school when they were publicizing the cover story about nodule mining. They showed us movies explaining how revolutionary it would be... including this animation of what looked like a huge Hoover vacuum crossed with a conveyor belt being rolled across the ocean floor. The CIA must have loved how all the other countries started a big deal about rights and stuff... it was a hugely successful misinformation campaign. What the guy doesn’t mention is they thought the burglary must have been done by soviet spies... but the soviets had absolutely no clue.

OK, someone helped themselves to my old drawing of the Capture Vehicle for this presentation. The drawing was made in 2002. IT IS WRONG!! Okay, the Drawing is WRONG! Further, the 2002 drawing and article was written for a private magazine. For the documentary film (Michael White- The Raising of the K-129) we obtained correct engineering drawings of the CV in 2006-2007. They are in the film and in the associated book (White & Polmar). Also David Sharp, who was Heavy Lift Director on the Glomar Explorer has written the definitive book on the background to the story and the onsite operations (The CIA's Greatest Covert Operation: Inside the Daring Mission to Recover a Nuclear-Armed Soviet Sub).

In one story about this I heard when they were bringing up the sub one of the missles popped out and sunk to the bottom again without going off.

The robbery was in 74', not 65'. 7000 Romaine St is in the heart of Hollywood, not West L. A.
