Selling teams will only do loan to buy if they can’t get their cash upfront for the player ..so it’s usually guys that have lost their way have been banged out on loan before and have no future at their parent club ..

Not to burst anyone’s bubble of the chance of Hugo Bueno but… as probs the only Celtic & wolves fan I don’t see it happening. Bueno is likely the one to take over Ait Nouri when he goes. This can’t be too far away after arguably being the best LB in the premier league last season. IF Hugo Bueno was to go out on loan who is the backup for wolves? Matt Doherty in big 2024 in the premier league… Only CHANCE Celtic have is if wolves get linked to a LB. I would love Hugo at Celtic as I think he instantly goes into the starting 11. However, outwith issues just on a wolves side with depth etc I think issues over a buy option would happen.
