I see you had an upgrade slewing gear that didnt fit. I bought one of these from Huina directly as it states on there that it should fit the 1550/1592/1593 and 1594 models but now that I watched this video, Im not so sure. Was it just this new track chassis that it wouldnt fit? If not, is there a metal version of the plastic slewing gear out there for the 1593? My one is slipping and making some cracking noises so I reckon it needs to be upgraded ASAP before it gets knackered. The upgrade slewing gear for the 1580 looks more like it would fit after watching this TBH.

Hey bud. I did buy the upgraded slew but it would require a bid of modding but seeing as the original was ok I didn't change it. It's possible to fit with modifications though but I had no need as mine was OK. Did you look at the gears to see if there's any damage or wear on the teeth? I found that hardly anything has enough grease and that helped to make it a fair bit less noisy.
@@RCbyNJT This is a video of it happening to mine and its pretty severe. When Im loading the third bucket, I go too far a bit and when I try to slew back, it happens... kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJzOpJ6PeN5_bpI

I have also ordered a new metal gear for the base of the arm (a 1594 part so I hope it works but nothing available yet again for the 1593 🙄to replace the crappy plastic one) as mine is looking a bit chewed up on the part I can see when I lift the arm fully up. I also have a flashing beacon like the E591 and a driver figurine to install so Im going to wait until I have everything delivered until I go at it because once is enough to start taking it apart lol. What kind of modding are you thinking I would need to do to make this metal slew gear fit? Im thinking it needs to be glued together cos the original one is fixed on the 1593 chassis but I will definitely make sure of this before I go that far if necessary lol.

@@IDBRCvids I just saw your post on the FB page. I saw and I defo heard those clicks there. I found due to the plastic gears and the weak motor used to spin it cause it to fail pretty prematurely if you use the digger like its mean to be used I found. As I bought the metal bottom chassis and tracks so I didn't want to chop things up. The slew gear you got is the same as the one I bought but it's it's just bit to big to fit in the ring but that's where I guess I bit of cutting and hot gluing things a bit might help and then secure it with the bolts or along those lines I thought when I tried. On my hydraulic 1594 I installed a 35kg servo and it's so much better, including side sweeping things on the ground it does not struggle pushing things on the side of the bucket with it. But yeah something is definitely wrong in there by the looks and sounds of that video shown. Good luck bud. Hit me up with any more questions or I can continue on the FB page if you prefer?

Where do you purchase your huina rc vehicles?

@@calixtemitchel3531 mostly from aliexpress to be honest 👍

I got the 1593 excavator and 1583 wheel loader from a German ebayer. The E591 Volvo A40G dump truck from aliexpress (which took 5 weeks to deliver to Ireland 🙄) and I also have a 1592 I got from Amazon but its too weak so dont get one of those. You want machines with the servo screw actuators to do any real digging. Anything else is a waste of money. I know this now first hand lol.

Man I have like 4 boxes of nuts and bolts from m1.6 to m4 lol and I added loads of scrap chain in the base weights like 6kg now my 1580 is

@@Lee-At-Green-Pheonix-Rc haha yeah I just bought 5 mixed nuts, screws and bolts from 1mm to 6mm for a 3d cat D10. I do have to add some more weights to it though I think it was sitting at 7.5.kg from 3kg but want it at 10 😁

That base looking tasty for the crane wick would help alot but I have a spare 1580 from a hydraulic parts 1580 a mate give me for a wheeled digger build
@RCbyNJT4 ай бұрын
@@Lee-At-Green-Pheonix-Rc it's really good, the base is basically the metal base chassis from the 1594. Looks identical inside and out to my 1594. But at the cost might as well get the 1594 in the first place 😅
