If you still use this tablet and the driver doesn't auto start you can just: Press and hold Windows key + R type "shell:startup" (without the quotes) drag and drop a shortcut to the driver here Now your PC will auto start it on startup.

You can go to task manager then go to "Startup" and you can select the applications that you want to start up but I havn't got this tablet yet and ordered it today I don't know if it's fixed or not but thats another way to do it

I'm torn between buying this huion h640p or the Veikk A50. They are in the same price range, but veikk is wider and has many buttons and a gesture pad. There is something about this brand that I am attracted too, but maybe veikk is the bang for the buck? Thoughts?

I’ve actually tried the A50 to review in the past but had bad luck with it, which is why it’s never been shown on my channel. If the it worked I bet it would have been amazing. I trust Huion products a little more though, and the H640P was super comfortable. It’s up to you though, I would even recommend any XP-Pen Deco 01 if you want more buttons.

Haha this is the only thing I've ever received from Huion! The last Huion tablet I reviewed I bought myself. I've yet to start it due to being swamped at work, but yeah I'm going to try to mash it together with Inktober!

Did you notice ghost lines? I used to have the original huion h610, the first one that released years ago and it made little lines and dots when I hovered the pen. Does this table still have that issue? Also, how does the non-battery pen works? Does it really function without batteries? And last, would you recommend this one for digital painting? I use Sai2 Excellent video!

No ghost lines whatsoever! The battery free pen works as well as any Wacom pen does and never gave me trouble. As I've only tested it on Windows 10, I can't say how it acts on older OS or Mac, I would say it's great on Windows 10 for sure. And yes, recommend this for digital painting, blending in Sai2 is really nice because of the amount of pressure you can use.

Re: Driver not autostarting, and needing a desktop shortcut or keyboard shortcut to launch it: Couldn't you just add that shortcut to your startup items so it gets run whenever the machine boots up?

If you wish to do that manually you can, but it’s unheard of for a tablet driver to not autostart. Some people like to use them instead of a mouse.

Well, yeah. I certainly agree this is a bug. I just thought having it get started at boot would be better than having to remember to manually click something to start before you try drawing. This is my first time hearing of these new models. I was looking into getting the "New 1060 Plus" but now I'm considering the H950P.

Just ordered this tablet! Since you also use Sai 2, can I ask you two last questions? Inside Sai2 > Help > Options > Pen Tablet, did you have "Used WinTab API" cheched? or which option? Also, in the drivers, did you have the WinTab option enabled? Thanks for your time!

I'm pretty sure I have it checked, I've not changed the setting since installing Sai2 so it's whatever it is by default. And yes I left wintab enabled because it acted funny with Sai2 when disabled, made it so I couldn't click around in the program at all. Hope that helps!

This seems like a really nice tablet, i was wondering, i have a wacom intuos draw tablet and my experience with the driver is REALLY BAD to the point that i cannot functionally use it anymore, this saddens me but seeing this huion tablet, i don't mind restarting the driver every reboot as long as it does the job, i'm planning to replace my intuos into this one, do you think it will be worth it?

I don't have the Intuos Draw but the biggest difference between the two tablets would be the Intuos has 2048 levels of pressure and the H640P has 8192, and 2 fewer express keys than the H640P. Sorry!

I suggest trying this out: make sure your drawing programs are completely closed, then go to the driver settings and on the Stylus Pen tab check or uncheck (whatever it isn’t at the time) and hit apply, then open krita or firealpaca and see if that allows it to work. Hope that helps!

It is a passive pen, meaning there is no charging. It just works when you place the tip to the tablet surface.

Hello. I face problem using this tablet. The 1st time im install the driver, when im start to draw, i only can use brush tool. I can't use eraser. Then i think too uninstall and install back. Then i face problem than i cant use brush but can use eraser. I have face no problem when i'm using mouse/ mouse pad draw in digital. Why this is happened?

It won’t allow you to choose the eraser tool? There is an option in the driver that will let you set a button to switch between tools (brush/eraser) you may try enabling.

Oh no, I'm sorry! Chromebooks can't usually support tablets, some linux drivers have been known to work on them, but Huion has never made drivers to support the OS. I think the only way to use the tablet would be with web-based drawing programs like Sumo Paint, though I'm not sure you can access the pressure sensitivity.
