Hi there - Any update on the IPad Driver and usability? Heard that you can now map the buttons to work like a keyboard and then use the Keydial with other apps like Davinci Resolve. Is this correct?

@@WarwickPurdy The iPad driver v1.3 added in early June 2023 has more pre-programmed shortcuts, but you still cannot configure your own keyboard shortcuts.

The Apple and Android drivers have been updated. Note: There will be a K40 that is very similar to the Xencelab

This looks identical to the previous version and that one had a fatal design flaw where a key would get stuck and you can only unstuck them by finding the key which keeps sending the signal and press it again on the keydial. This made the previous version pretty much unusable and for example Amazon reviews have multiple mentions about the issue.

The only thing that was missing for me in the K100 was the lack of Bluetooth support. I don't need any dongles in my laptop when I'm putting it back in the sleeve. This solves that problem. Instant buy.

Can you press two keys simultaneously? For example having one set to CTRL and another one set to SPACE, can I press them together to zoom? Or you can just set CTRL + SPACE to a single key? I remember in a previous review, you mentioned that you couldn't press two keys simultaneously with the HUION KD100.

@@GugartsAnimations No. Mouse actions are just mouse actions. Keyboard and mouse actions are separate.

@@teohontech7141 Holding two buttons together is not possible on the Mac driver. The second button overrides the first. It works on Windows, though.

Looks like with the newest firmware and ipad update any button can be mapped to anything! Dial works clockwise and counterclockwise too

Android also supports the use, but keydial only supports the change of key values. Whether different software is suitable depends on whether the software itself supports the key value shortcut function. If it supports it, it can be used. If it does not support it, it is not suitable.

Did not test those. Anyway, as long as you can set a keyboard shortcut, you can use the dial for it.

You really need to be able to make your own shortcuts. Also, they should get rid of the logo and add a second dial.

I have a question. Is it possible to use the Keydial Mini and Mini Keydial KD100 simultaneously on one computer? For example, can I assign different settings on the Keydial Mini and Mini Keydial KD100 when working in Photoshop?

That little crosshair cursor >_< I’m returning my 19 Pro 4k because I can’t see my stroke because of the cursor. Huion tried to help but it can’t be shut off.

Whether the crosshair cursor can be turned off depends on the app you use. It's not because of the pen display or Huion software. E.g. That crosshair is still there with your normal computer monitor

Tested with ipad driver v3.2.2 (Dec 2024) and it works fine. Huion has also added more apps with pre-programmed shortcuts. Shortcut key customisation is also available.

Hi. Logitech makes a keyboard called keys to go which is paper thin. I got mine on clearance, the price on the logitech site is 69.99 usd so it's not really worth it all full price.

Got to wait for Huion to update the driver app. There are actually many compact keyboard remotes out there, e.g. Wacom, Xencelabs, XPPen. But the problem is always the lack of driver. And in this case, the Huion driver isn't good enough, yet.

Customize any shortcut function that can be entered by key value, but the Dial switching interface only supports switching back and forth between 3 shortcut tools.

I no longer have Xencelabs remote. I still prefer using a full keyboard so that I can have access to all shortcuts. But if you were to ask me to choose between different remotes, I will go with one that has the most number of buttons for reason mentioned earlier.

Key remote control It is very difficult to say which key remote control is the best. Each has advantages and disadvantages With the Huion, for example, you have the largest range of supported systems, 3x Dial. I regret this purchase. Sofware is bugged as f, i need to uninstall/reinstall every week. Key change doesn't work 1 day every 2 days, zoom is bugged on photoshop. I've bought this because my Kamvas 12 is kinda bugged and the keys doesn't work very well (everything is updated), but this is worse...

Kind of overpriced, I bought a bluetooth macropad off aliexpress 12 buttons and 2 knobs. Came with software to remap the onboard memory so I just swapped out the keycaps and use that for everything on my S8+ for drawing in CSP
