This review made me make the decision to buy this tablet back in the day when my old Wacom died and I needed a new one ASAP. To this day I regret nothing, this thing is amazing, and if you have in an arm you can easily use it as a side monitor.

@noone-gf5op @TuffleG hell yea, I'm still using it to this day actually, the only two complains I have about it is that the top part of the screen gets a little hot during the warm months, and that the HDMI and USB cables are at a weird angle on the bottom of the screen and might break, specially if you use the stand that comes in the box, I suggest getting a 90 degree adapter for those so they last longer. other than that the pen display is perfect!

@@TuffleG oh, one more thing, the pen I did had to replace, luckily HUION sells the replacements on their site, you can even buy some of the better/newer ones and they're 100% compatible

@PemaMendez990 no worries thank you for the reply my huion 22 plus broke and stopped working and I tried to take it apart to fix it but I broke the screen doing so becuase somebody thought it was a good idea to put a final screw under the warranty sticker. :/ as far as the cables go I think I'm okay with it so long as it's not loose like the 22 was and actually goes in a little

I'd say starting with a graphic tablet is cheaper than a traditional medium. I've definitely spent way more just on alcohol markers than I spent on this tablet. The best thing about Digital art is all the "ink/paint" is technically free!

OMG. I gotta say this. I also had a Wacom Intuos3 wide (but in grey), and recently I decided to upgrade to a screen tablet, and I got the Kamvas 20! What a coincidence! However I’ll keep the good old Intuos3 because like you said, it’s a hardcore, super tough tablet. Also it has a lot of sentimental value. I love your videos and how you explain the whole process, thanks for sharing your amazing skills!

I love your vids, i watch them all.. but i thibk one is missing, im a industrial designer and i just started to digital paint. I think you should make a video showing how to digital paiting and rendering.. Showing us the diferent kind of brushes, how to work with layers(shadows, highlight and colors) and tips witch tools to use etc. I know photoshop and know how to draw.. but its kinda hard to blend those 2... im watching a bunch of vids, but i feel like theres a bunch of tips and shortcuts there is not clear.. I replaced my old Intuos3 4x6 with a Huion . I think it's the Inspiroy H640P. I had a 9x12 Intuos3 as well, but sent it to a friend when their (even older) tablet bit it. (Neither my PC or Mac liked that 9x12, for some reason? But my tablet PC and my partner's PC was fine with it. Same with my ex's iMac). I upgraded to get the extra sensitivity levels, and to because it had a fairly annoying gouge from one of my moves. The only thing I really miss about the Intuos is the eraser on the pen, but I can make a hot key. (I'm still using the Intuos for a portable arting. Those old ones were beasts!)

I bought the Kamvas pro 20 2019 from this website and what arrived was this, what a disappointment, though the delivery guy will come to pick the wrong package and replace it with the proper 1000% better one Oh and it was missing the 2nd pen, and the glove

Redesign the DURANGO PLEASE. I had a 2001 that I loved, however they took it into a direction I hate which is to copy all the other SUVS on the market and thus it lost its offroad prowless. Wish they made the newest one look just as tough as the older ones but up to todays standards and still the same uses as the old one which were family/adventure large SUV.

I’m looking for a good canvas that does not need to be plugged into a pc or mac to be used. I don’t own a pc and would rate her spend my money on something fun like this. Any recommendations for just a hobbyist and his wife (the far better artist) just looking for a tablet to work outside with or while traveling?

As someone who’s used both portable tablets and tablets like these, I’d recommend an iPad, sadly most need to be plugged into a pc in order to function and can be really costly. iPads have so many good choices of drawing apps for lower prices, a pressure-sensitive stylus, the portability you’re looking for, and it can be more than just a tablet when you don’t feel in the mood to draw. If you have any other questions feel free to ask :)

I own the kamvas pro 20 (2019 version), and I think, the main difference is, that the pro 20‘s screen is laminated. It also has the four buttons for POWER and screen settings on the very top edge of the frame, so you don’t accidentally hit them with your arm or hand while working. If you noticed, the one in the video has those buttons on the front, towards the right corner of the screen. I‘m very pleased with mine, I use it for different purposes (digitizing embroidery designs), and I think it’s great, considering it’s price.

I bought this tablet and I have a Mac, and I don't know how to make both screens to do the same thing. It's like Huion is completely independent from my Mac. I searched in the menu of the Huion, and there are 3 options in the 'working area' folder: work with screen 1, screen 2, or 3 (both creens). None of them fix my problem. nice. i still have my old intuos 3 too, and also never use the buttons on it. however, i did work on windows once upon a time, so the second button on the pen was used for doubleclick, which came handy when browsing folders (since i didnt have a mouse at all, tablet replaced it completely)
