These two pen displays use 23.8-inch IPS panels that support 1440P resolution and 100% sRGB. They are both huge and drawing performance is fantastic. Find out which one is better or provide more value for money in this comparison.

*Update Aug 2020 after using both Huion and XP-Pen* Drawing experience with both Huion and XP-Pen are pretty similar so you can't go wrong with either. For comparison purposes, main selling point for Huion is the matte glass surface which can't be scratched. For XP-Pen, it's the significantly higher brightness of 298 vs 158 nits (from what I measured). XP Pen uses matte screen protector which will scratch eventually. Personally I'm not that fussy so I don't mind matte screen protector. I value the higher brightness more. XP-Pen's USB-C is useful if you have USB-C devices. in case anyone wanted to know about the scratches. I have the xp pen 15.6 pro and the screen protector does in fact get scratches when used. I've had mine for about 6 months now and maybe after less than a month of use (regular use) there are already thin scraches showing up. the worst thing about these scraches is that when the screen does get scratched, i can see thin lines of rainbow distortion effects where the scratches are. no they dont go away, you'll probably have to chage out the screen protector to get rid of them. however that's about it, just thin scratches here and there but no other damges have occured.

Strange i had a cintiq pro 16 and change it to a cintiq 16 with parallax because the pen touches the led screen and with time destroy pixels on the screen.... Green tinyt dots and i say this because wacom gave me 3 of them of warranty so insold the third one.

DigitalBerserk I feel that, I use at cintiq pro 16 at office(not mine) and we had only problems with it cause where the palm rests has created dead pixels(as you said, red, green and blue dots) that’s why during quarantine I purchased the 22 for work at home. But maybe it’s due to the fact that I’m too used to my iPad Air. The parallax and the delay of the mark on the screen created me a lot of headaches. Maybe everyone reacts differently to this issue. But I would never buy another tablet with non laminated screen.

I have a Huion 20 inch and one thing that is better than XP Pen is the stand for a specific reason. XP pen my be completely on desk. The Huion you can hang off the desk like an inch down. So this puts it a little more "in your lap" and it a better / more natural position to draw in. I would assume the huion 24 inch would be the same

I have the xp pen 15.6 pro, bough it in Anime expo last year at a discounted price. I was a bit skeptical at first since I was a Wacom loyalist, and though the other brands were just cheap knock offs. However, trying it on the booth and seeing how accurate and fluid it felt. I decided to gamble and get it. Ever since I’ve been in love with xppen, the tablet is amazing, costumer service have been extremely reliable with my questions, and a few days I decided to pre-order the 24 inch. Super excited to get it. Though the screen protector does gets scratch as times goes on, I have to look at it in an angle to notice the scratches but when I draw on it I don’t see them. So that’s not a problem in my case.

I had a GT156 V2 starting out which did the job, but I felt like XP Pen gave more value for what I was paying so I went with them. Plus the XP Pen driver updates worked a lot better for me. I never like to give a thumbs down on a video, but if you do a comparison, you need to have the actual products to compare. We can all compare some features we take from a website. What we need is actual hands on experience from you on both them. The other point is that at some point this started to feel more like a Wacom commercial, with actually wrong info in it..... simply because you have no hands on experience with this either. Not your best video.
@teohyc

My opinion of Huion is based on the Kamvas Pro 16 that I've used. Drawing performance is going to be similar unless Huion messes it up which is unlikely. I don't have the Huion to review/test/use, which is why I said so right at the start of the video. Not sure how you got the idea that this is a Wacom commercial. I have been sponsored Huion and XP-Pen products before so it would make more sense that this is a Huion and XP-Pen commercial. Anyway, Huion and XP-Pen are both significantly cheaper and good drawing performance. In terms of value for money, it goes to Huion and XP-Pen.

@@teohyc in my opinion you cannot base your opinion upon a different model. The drawing performance does not have to be similar at all, especially since technology in this new model has advanced over the Huion Kamvas Pro 16. The Huion has broken English that is confusing me, It said the PC must have both HDMI and a USB, then says if I want to use USB I need an adapter that is not included. Then it says the adapter cable is included. Then I read the XP-pen page again and it had proper English that I clearly understood. I think for this reason alone I will go with the XP-pen. Drawing experience with both Huion and XP-Pen are pretty similar so you can't go wrong with either. For comparison purposes, main selling point for Huion is the matte glass surface. For XP-Pen, it's the significantly higher brightness of 298 vs 158 (from what I measured). XP Pen uses matte screen protector which will scratch eventually. Personally I'm not that fussy so I don't mind matte screen protector. I value the higher brightness more.

all you need to know - is for 90% of all artists out there - the ipad pro 12.9 out preforms these tablets in almost every way. just cost me $900 bucks to learn this. Am filing for a refund as we speak. It's a wonderful piece of hardware - very pretty, but the fact is - it's tablet screens don't compare to an ipad if you've already been on an ipad for a while. Parallaxing - sensitivity, pressure, tilt, brush customization - it's all in procreate and works better on an ipad then with this giant piece of hardware. Drivers are weak as well - maybe you can - but i didn't see any available - but perhaps there's specific drivers that will work with painter or photoshop so maximize curve pressure. But holy cow - i struggled to get the sensitivity to work correctly. Photoshop and Corel better adjust - because i really don't know what you can do in those engines that you can't do in procreate for free - and it's got more options for brushes that are better and more intuitive. The other programs almost have to many features - but that's why i say - for 90% of artists out there - an ipad pro will be more than superior. I'm sure certain pros will still need a larger screen to work on - because i swear, that's all these tablets offer. my 2 cents - and a learned experience - from what i wanted to be a extremely happy xp-pen pro 24 owner - but alas.. it's seriously falls short, i bet they all do.

Hi Teoh, how are you? I have a question, I would appreciate any comments: Could you give me any advice or guidance on which is the best pen display to use with Revit and Autocad? I know that I will have a lot of visual coordination, I will also zoom in and out and sometimes I will have to zoom in on some details to find with the pencil or the pointer the centers of a circle in autocad or revit. I work as a mechanical and piping designer, I will use to take center connections from one pipe to another, at the same time I will use many rotations with my 3D spacemouse connection to use it with the left hand instead of using it from the tablet. I will also be working entering numerical data with the keyboard or with the pointer navigating through the program, that is, there will be a lot of precision. I saw, that there is a wacom commercial on youtube a Wacom demonstration, with the cintiq pro 32 "which is an engineer turning the object and turning his tablet constantly. But for my Wacom it is too expensive, very expensive that is why I come to ask you for advice, which tablet should I buy between 15.6 "and 22" in size and that I can use it for this special case. If you need my information you can write to me at: zams6262@hotmail.com. Thanks so much for any help

The competition isn’t going to destroy them lol. Once the Competition makes a 4K drawing display like wacoms cintiqs then the competitions going to cost around $1,100-1,400 USD I am betting. So Wacom isn’t going to be that far off. Also, wacoms competition is squeezing out every dollar with all of the features they add to their products so they are not giving themselves a lot of room I would suspect to make great money off of selling their products compared to how much they could’ve charged. So since yes, Wacom does charge more & add more but I would bet Wacom charges a bit more to give themselves more revenue so at the end of the day as long as wacoms current audience continues to buy their products, Wacom will still lead in revenue compared to their competitors because the competitors aren’t making much money from selling their products for the cheapest
