I know most of your audience is young.There was a bank known as Trade Bank in the early 1990's owned by a gentleman by the name of Alnoor Kassam.He is now in Canada, with his brother Iqbal.The bank had such drive-in banking facilities.You never got out of your vehicle but instead your were served by a cashier in a cubicle.The said building is in Valley road opposite PanAfric Hotel and is now known as the EACC (Anti corruption ) centre.The only difference is that the banking sector is now more automated.In the same bank,if you came to withdraw cash or deposit from 6pm-6am, you could serve yourself coffee or tea as you waited to be served.No doubt Trade Bank was ahead of its time.....but Alnoor Kassam crossed paths with Total man Biwott and he had to take off.I should know because I worked for the bank...

Kenya is way ahead in terms of banking . In Kenya you need not visit any bank or ATM to withdraw or deposit money. You can do it from your bathroom or from the farm complete with tools in your hands. M.pesa is generations away from the American systems. Americans are stone age on matters of cash handling.
