When I was like 19, I was at a store wearing a new shirt that I thought looked so cute, but then some older (like 50's or older, I would say) woman tapped my shoulder and asked me, in just a very sweet voice, when I was due. I just kinda blinked in shock, and she was like 'Oh, I'm so sorry, you're not pregnant, are you?" She was very nice and apologized, but I didn't wear that shirt for at least a few months after that.

I have endometriosis and was put on a birth control patch and gained 23 pounds in a month and a half. I’m on a new med now and have been for 2 months and have been working out and eating healthy for that entire two months but sadly I’ve only dropped 2 pounds. MICHELLE ROSS very true. I’ve had two back surgeries, the last of which was a lower lumbar fusion. I pretty much had to relearn how to make even the smallest movements. All is good now, but yes, life changing.

Lexy Luna back surgery is one of those things that is a gamble that might not be worth it. It’s really hard to decide since the results are either amazing or horrendous. People either love it or regret it, there’s no middle ground like with other procedures. Most things you can say “it can’t make it worse so the worst that can happen is nothing” but that doesn’t apply to back surgery! It can make it worse. It’s really scary and hard to decide. My husband has shrapnel in his back from deploying to Iraq and there’s a 50/50 risk of paralysis to remove it. He’s in extreme pain without removing it and there’s a chance it could move enough to paralyze him too. I hope your mom gets the help she needs and finds relief. ❤️

Lexy Luna with my first back surgery, I knew even before going in that it wouldn’t work because it wasn’t “enough” of a fix, but it was all that insurance would approve. Five years later, I had my lower lumbar fusion and it was successful. It was a long and hard recovery, but all is good now. I do still have some back pain, but it’s not crippling like it was before and I don’t have to take pain meds everyday.
