I did this for the first time at our weekly spin jam! I was practicing and when I finally got it, a man came up and said I did it beautifully! I came to find out that he is a well known instructor in the area! Thanks Deanne!

You are a pure pure genius. I just started this today and I got it once but I am so exhilarated. You are so goooood. My ankles are bruised and I dont want to try more. Also, to everyone out there - I am one of those who goes through all the comments before going ahead to know how tough a move is and then never try it. But I will just say its just tough in our head. We can all get this. Deanne so much love ❤

Argh it can be painful but I am glad you kept at it. It is a good feeling when you get it. The ankle pain gets better I promise!

Yes that happens a lot in hooping sometimes it is just the little shifts that can unlock stuff! Glad you got it!

Amazing! I've been hooping for 5 years and couldn't figure this out. I looked the trick up and this was the first "professional" looking tutorial I found as a hoopdance instructor myself, the way this was described and executed makes it super simple to learn!

Hey. I love all of your videos, they've helped so much! I'm still having a bit of trouble with this one though. I seem to be dragging the hoop on the floor when I try to spin it. You seem to have it lifted a bit from the first little spin, but I can't seem to figure out how to do that. Any thoughts? Thank you so much!

Okay, so i can start it and kick it up, But i cant put my foot back in the hoop without screwing the flow :S hardest part. I cant get to stick the foot back in or bring the hoop up to my hips, it seems impossible

eelsoukov Aluminium hoops would be too hard because they have no spring or bounce to them.

What are the best hula hoops to use? I know a lot of performers use the poly pro... but would a large kids hoop do the same job? xx
@DeanneLove8 жыл бұрын
If you are a beginner and you are just learning how to body hoop and you want to do it with correct posture and timing then consider a dance hoop made of HDPE of similar. If you want something faster then polypro is a better tubing.
