He is my favorite character from the DC universe. My first ever comic book that i bought is Watchmen and boy he impressed me big time when I was reading it. A literal god that can do anything but still can't understand human emotions and struggled bonding or even caring about humanity and lesser lifeforms.. Very interesting stuff you know.

Dr Manhattan's powers is a lot greater than Firestorm and Captain Atom put together. Plus, he can see the past, present, and future at the same time. And dictate the time of events accordingly. I believe the story arc was called strange visitor indicating that the author who wrote it I felt the Superman was never intended to be a permanent resident of Earth or even the universe he was born in. It was suggested that he got that powerful because it's expensive during his 80th birthday celebration hinted that he could get that strong and that he would need to get their strong if you wanted to try to rescue the astronauts they have been blasted into a temporal pocket in the sixth dimension because of the experimental red Kryptonite fuel that they were using
