It's quite simple, in the explorer category Bering has no equal and they have a secret weapon, Alexi, a CEO whose pride in what he builds, his unparalleled enthusiasm for his craft and knowledge of what it takes to build a true luxury explorer is without par in the industry and I say that not lightly, based on over 30 years in the business. In the sub 50 metre class, there is no one else I would even consider, it's a lay-down win.

no full crash box on stern then (at 3.47) ?? and after watching N styles build, that was some of the roughest welding ive seen in 43 yrs of welding/fabrication.

Wow! I took a closer look and at 3:17 check the square tubing where they meet. I've done a lot of welding myself (stick, MIG and TIG) and I would be very upset seeing welds like those if this were my build. How can you weld on this boat for a living every day and leave something that poor? It's hard for me to understand and really changes my perspective on the build quality of these boats if that passes any kind of QC. Either they don't care and are trying to crank units out quickly, or no formal training on how to properly weld.

We all love Bering. I don't think they have made a dumb design yet. Yet I hope they take a page from CdM, Sanlorenzo, and Oceanco, and offer a yacht with a longer flat deck on the main level, or a half level up so that a larger tender and more toys can be carried on deck without need for a separate toy carrier yacht. That's a growing trend on the explorer vessels now. I asked if Bering would ever make a support yacht and he said 'No. Not really. If you want to carry more toys, the Bering 85 you can buy. We won't build a support yacht now. In the future' Then David Seal jumped in and said 'If someone came in and offered to buy the 180 or maybe a 200 and then wanted a 32M toy carrier you would comsider it? And Alexi said 'Yes in that case, for that one customer that knows us, they would need to be repeat customer, but if they want to wait to sin e we ha e nvere done one and we would need to build it in our style and our quality, then we can do it while they wait and enjoy their other Bering" which I don't think would be long. The owner of Heuss roght now owns the largest Bering, but there are 6 other 140's, so either of them could make that happen

Very niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice boat. Like the sleek look of the 70 a bit better....just need a max speed in the 14-18 knots range to dodge weather and a general travel speed of 8-10 knots for long distance. ✌🏻️

​@titteifilm Theirs is the 75, this is hull 1 of the 72. Which is an evolution of the 65, the ship that started Rico and Victoria's love for Bering as well. They definitely considered the 72, but they want to live aboard and charter it themselves, so they went with the "omg what did we do, this thing is huuuuge!" of the 75 ;)
