Hello MissB :) Yes I don't know the naming process for the tank barges at Mainmast (the parent company of the tank barge) Thank you so much for watching and commenting

The ‘cobbled road’ at 7:46 is actually ‘Gibson Street’ - nothing to do with the railway, but a residential street that is a very rare survivor of the area. All the houses are gone, but somehow the street survived all the other rebuilding. The new council estate is nothing like the run-down residential area it was before, and this street gives you an idea how it was before.

Your unknown plant at 9:00 minutes in is the the very invasive common or garden bindweed. - Stay safe.

The original Hull terminus was to be in Kingston Square where the New Theatre stands but they ran out of money to reach the city centre which would have meant demolishing houses along the route. So as a stop gap they built a wooden station at Cannon St hoping to extend south when funds allowed.

Interesting video, I think Hull has quite a few of these type of bridges. The plant is bindweed, it grows like mad and you can have a job getting rid of it in your garden...😃👍👍

At Barnsley, we've brung back some of the railway past with monuments of steam train wheels/ photos outside McDonald's showing Barnsley's railway past and part of the old station platform of Stairfoot station. Plus, theres the original stone bridge at the bottom of my street and a section track too which acts as a speed bump.

The H&BR though it still exists as far as the former bridges junction at New Bridge Road, has seen the bridge to Alex Dock removed along with the entire embankment all the way to where Bridge No1 crossed Hedon Road and there is no existence now of any of the bridges or abutments to the bridges anywhere along the length of the former railway there. It would have crossed on 2 bridges over roads and 1 over the former Hull-Withernsea branch before joining the old line at bridges Junction. Bridges Junction itself is relatively new as that was built for when King George Dock was built and opened.

Oooh nice! I like trains and bridges. The driver of the tank barge was very good. There isn’t much space. I bet it made him jump when there was a big red train above him 🚂
