HULL FAIR BUILD 2023 | ALMOST COMPLETE | 3 days to go until open night | NEW TOP SPIN RIDE

The third visit to the site of Hull fair , 3 days until open night and 5 days since the first builds began, the fair is really taking shape now and looks way on the way to being complete 😀.

You are correct, the ghost train that is there on the Friday and Saturday is standing in for the other that is there for the rest of the fair because the second one is at Nottingham goose fair until Sunday night. It then comes to hull and takes up its position for the rest of the fair

I can only really remember one occasion where I went to hull fair opening weekend in shorts and t shirt and that was about 4 or 5 years ago I think, it's usually quite grim weather wise but I do kind of like the dark, cloudy skies as it makes it more atmospheric 😊but nice weather keeps us dry at least haha... thank you, hope you have a fantastic time too

Remember every year when that weird tower roller-coaster with the postman pat shaped cars always used to be located in the working men's club carpark. Think it was called toboggan? The ghost train 4:13 also remember when it used to have that massive animatronic monster moving, I think they said it would cost to much to repair. 👍

Thank you 😁, j can't say I have noticed it there before, it's quite difficult to take not of every ride when it's dark and so so busy though, this is the first time we have really seen it all in the broad daylight and with no crowds 😊

Most of the rides you see year on year are on positions owned by the showman they are passed down the family so most families have been attending the fair for decades. There is a few floating positions which showmen who don't own a plot can apply to open on.

Obviously not specific positions, because Evans Atmosphere Creator was in a different position to last year!

@owenjohn1192 I seem to recall the atmosphere creator being in this exact location in previous years though , I tend to go several times each year and we rode this ride a few times in the past 😀

It's nothing that the public couldn't see for themselves out in a public street or car park, think the worst that could happen is someone could check the status of a vehicles MOT , no owner details are displayed or available
