Remember back in the 1990's going pass the ground to college and see the ride arrive and build up, and with having a uncle who lived down Walton street back in the 1970's/early 1980's I what magic that ground has when the fair is on it. last week found footage of the 1973 fair and how different it looked with rides and side shows. Thank you so much showing us how hard the showmen/women work. most of us only get to see them opp. the rides. Life on a fair or a circus is not just the bright lights, it the miles they travel, setting up and pulling down in all kinds of weather. Keep safe and well, thank you so much show us thing like this. Only 12 month to the next Hull Fair.

great vlog as always 2010 was my first visit to hull i stayed the last weekend until the monday was amazing to see the fair full of life and open the saturday then after 10pm all hands on deck and to see these structures in a few hours packed away ready to leave was great to see. Great to see you and martin enjoyed the day also . cheers lads

Great video.. liked the conversation about Taylor’s waltzers.. good how they have introduced how you queue around the ride.. it’s what’s missing now not being able to stand round the platform of speedway’s and waltzers ..that was all part of showman ship.
