I have a couple of friends who have been across Hullo a few times. I'll have to try it out one day-thanks for your review of it, and thanks for the fossil education!

We were going to take the Hullo to get to YVR back in the fall but they couldn't say if we could bring my checked luggage bag (packsack) on board so we had to abort and use the slow ferry and pay the extra for a cab from Tsawwassen. We are going overseas again next week so will give it another go. Seems they have straightened out the baggage issue. Happy searching!

That really sucks! It looks like Hullo has smoothed out some growing pains since they started. It would be nice to see this service succeed to the point that they could expand their routes.

Is it a new ferry or a new service or both? Did you report that the AL location wasn't currently accessible? Perhaps its creator could temporarily make the answer multiple choice or change it for a while? Good job finding the anchor cache and proving your skills aren't a fluke. There have been a few renditions of a fast passenger ferry in the past. The Harbour Lynx being one in the 90s/2000s. Hullo is testing the waters with its route to the island. So far, pretty good. Though I think it's in their best interest to get a route to Victoria as soon as possible. Connecting the two big coastal cities is a must.

Congratulations, my friend! Ferry passengers who use wheelchairs have very limited accessibility on this new ferry. It’s a shock to learn about the barriers people are encountering.

@@GeocachingKeats94No point at all going to Victoria. Nanaimo is the main transport centre and gateway to the rest of the Island. Also the run to downtown Victoria is simply too long to be profitable.
