I appreciate you mentioning how Generators were recruited by Manifestors in the olden days to do the work and build society but now we have the freedom to work on things we're passionate about. I find others who talk about Human Design simplify Generators to work rats for everyone else and it made me feel discouraged on being a Generator.

Super late here, but Steve Jobs was a Generator. Not even a mani-gen, so saying generators are “work rats” for everyone else shows just how little they understand the true dynamics of the system.

This makes so much sense! Initiators question why I rarely initiate, when I'm actually hard-wired to respond instead. It's like when extroverts tell me, the introvert, that I need to be more extroverted. I wish more people understood this.

My son is a generator- he’s 5. I’m a manifestor. Watching this just because I am just discovering this way of thinking and theory. And OMG I am mindblown. I am now going to use this info to better guide him so I am not hurting him, but help him by stepping into my power and allow him to grow and be as healthy as possible. We are always bickering and it’s because that’s his given response method. Frustration. While mine is anger. And we need to work together to prosper. I am so thankful for this info. For example, a partner I was living with wanted me to get a job and was mad that I wasn’t looking. I am a 5/1 generator and I have never felt like I’ve had a ton of energy. Honestly I’ve felt super drained my entire life. I am married to a projector and I feel like he is so much more energetic. The one difference I have noticed is that he can get a superhuman amount of things done for a few days then he crashes. I don’t tend to have the crash; however I don’t ever feel like I can keep up with him when he is working. I can just kind of keep chugging along.

Yes! I can relate to that too working in crazy spurts and crashing! Generators definitely have that more sustainable “marathon” style pace - so it totally makes sense you can chug along! 😊 Also I believe all types are capable of feeling drained for various reasons - not enjoying your work, overworking, relationships, emotional reasons, environment, etc etc. But usually there are things we can do to manage that 🙏

I actually believe its a myth that we have so much energy. I even attract generators and its the same for them. We truly need to do what makes ud happy - which also means many breaks, Nature and just enjoying life. I also think we might have been overdoing in our Young years and we have often Been stressed from doing things we didn’t liked, so as adaults we are affected from this past of doing so much we felt like we had to do that we now are prone to stress snd therefore feeling drained

Thank you so much and wishing you all the health on your healing journey! ❤️ I personally don’t believe there’s anything innately wrong with initiating or using logic when making decisions. Typically it’s when a person is burning out and exhausting themselves that “waiting” can be a great strategy energetically. Also, using authority when logic is keeping them playing small or limiting them from their truth and fulfillment in any way. But otherwise, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it right 🤷🏻♀️💕

Thank you SOoooo much! I feel that I swing from pure Generator towards Manifesting Generator. I had no idea about this stuff; until a friend of mine, Liz, told me about a friend of hers who does readings. I decided to go check it out myself. See... I'm a Cap/Sag, depending on who you ask (Western vs. Sidereal) The Cap in me made me feel that I HAD to make things happen. But I noticed strangely that the wait and see game made more sense for me; but I kept dragging myself back to the Capricornian way of simply pushing ahead and MAKING STUFF HAPPEN. I don't seem to be a manifester; and I came to this channel seeking to find out what a GENERATOR was; because this was my brief reading when I plugged it into a free calculator. What's really strange, is that I was having a dialogue with what I suppose was my expanded self; and that self told me that at the core, I was a Generator/Manifester! I thought I might be simply telling my self stuff or going crazy; but I also had a person do a soul reading and they saw me in the center of the Universe with fireballs whizzing all around me. Shortly after that, I got into contact juggling and practiced spinning all kinds of things and came up with a practice that I termed VORTICAL MOVEMENT. I combined this with my own martial arts training; and then later began to practice telekinesis. I brought that outside and learned to use aeromagnetics; and later came back to learning Qi Gong. This idea about RESPONDING is making a ton of sense to me. I don't know if I'm a pure generator or a generator/manifestor; but I can attest to having an extreme amount of energy and intensity every day. It's only when I feel stuck, frustrated or depressed that I don't have that energy. I've been wondering why I spent so much time with porn; but if what you say applies to me about the SACRAL CHAKRA needing to be used up every day; then this would also make perfect sense. But I don't want to waste that energy... I want to focus it on something worthwhile.

Amongst my post-grad depression/confusion, I found you. I’m 23 years old 6/2 generator. Not really into astrology but Capricorn sun, Pisces rising & moon. All my life I’ve been looking for my “super power” and I don’t know ! I graduated with double majors in Global Health & Psychology with Specialization in Human Health, but I realized I absolutely hate healthcare (tho the paycheq is fat) where I’m contained in a clinic for 8 hours a day with no freedom to live my life. Now just finding out that it’s just not in me by default. I’ve also explored a few other industries which none of them made it past 1 month before I resigned. I began to think the problem is me and beating myself up feeling “behind” on life compared to my peers. It’s so crazy that everything you’ve said in the video is true, I recall being told what I do is cool but I have no idea what I did. Also the patience part, couldn’t be more accurate. I act on impulse, and wants result immediately which never happened, career & relationship wise. I hope my experience helps another person similar to me to see that they are not alone.

Conceptually, I understand following joy, not initiating things and things are just attracted to you. But how does a generator get things done in life without initiating anything? How do you find your dream career if you don't apply for it? Or if you don't set up a profile on the job or networking sites? How do you start a business without taking the steps to start it? How do you find your dream house if you don't do the searching for it and contact the necessary people? You know what im saying?
@kennedymaxwell54052 жыл бұрын
i feel this whole heartedly and was literally questioning this myself. the first thing that came to me was taking inspired action. if you feel drawn to or inspired to talk to someone..do it they may present you with an opportunity you’ve been wanting. you feel drawn to create a business plan? do it it may help you then take action to talk about it with someone and that could lead you somewhere else. basically i guess following our intuition and tuning in to the things and people we feel pulled and drawn to and then taking inspired action towards it. idk i hope this helps. 🤍 soon enough we’ll figure it out!

@kennedymaxwell54052 жыл бұрын
@@8eautyInTheDark hmm i don’t think so. i think we have to listen to what our bodies, intuition, and inner desires are telling us. then when opportunities or people etc presents themselves to us and we see it and are like “yes that’s it!” from there we respond and take action. we can’t take initiation too literally because applying for our dream career is inspired action. because it’s coming from our inner desire.

I just was told I am a generator too. But I am confused, I am a very serious introvert, my hobby is to read books and collect stuff. I always have like 1 best friend to whom I stick, I only like deep friendships and conversations and I dont smile much. Can I still be a Generator?

Okay so I'm confused. I get that whatever I'm supposed to do will simply come to me, but how am I supposed to follow my passions and the things that I enjoy if I don't initiate and do them?
@thehumandesignacademy2 жыл бұрын
Hi Hayden! To clarify, responding doesn't mean never initiating :) It means initiating through response, rather than initiate as so many of us do as a reaction to fear (e.g. FOMO, fear of uncertainty, fear of inadequacy) - you following your passions is a response to what lights you up. Your sacral response is your truth. Follow that and initiate from here. 😊

I feel so unlucky llol. Do you have a video on incarnation cross? Out of all the choices i get Right Angle Cross of The Unexpected (28/27 | 31/41) lmao no wonder i hate life and want to leave this earth. HOw can human design solve depression, if my incarnation destiny is to struggle..... I have no passions or dreams ?!?!??!?!
