My psychiatrist pulled my bodygraph chart for me - I’m a projector, which makes a lot of sense! I have a lot of anxiety issues and I’ve always called myself an “extreme empath”. So finding out I’m a projector makes sense. Today’s the first day I’m learning about human design and I can’t wait to dive deeper!

It's interesting that you said projectors weren't needed before 1781 because life then was about survival. I'm a 1/3 projector and I recently had a reading from a 3/5 projector that interpreted my chart as having "a strong survival instinct - primal, old school, but with a new twist" and she said "you probably have an ability to take old ideas and transmute them into something totally new that works today" when I'm in a healthy expression of my design, that last one really resonates with me

A friend of mine introduced me to Human Design the other day. Today we went over most of my design. I'm a generator. I have an open throat point. One of my issues in this life is struggles. I've been trying to overcome the struggle issues for at least 40 years, and haven't been able to figure out how to correct it so I can manifest easier and reach my goals easier. She has most of explanation of my chart, so I have to see if she can email that part to me so I read more.

No problem, it's my pleasure! The planets give you insight into the specific role or purpose that an energy plays in your life. Some have more of a personal influence than others, so you're right they're not all "equal". The most influential being the Sun which makes up 70% of your energetic influence :)

It's interesting to me to hear about Reflectors because it's the type I relate to the most (aside from my own, pure Generator). I guess maybe trauma has kept me in a perpetual state of reflecting to others rather than really focusing on generating energy. I'm a generator with a bunch of open centers and channels so maybe that could help explain it? (I have four closed centers if I recall correctly). Still grasping with the fact that my natural state is NOT to be a passive, brilliant, elusive 'empath' (I don't believe this is a real label - the concept might be interesting to explore, but not the ego that always comes attached to everyone who describes themselves as an empath lol), but rather to create things and generate energy. I've known that since I was a kid, but trauma has made me forget. I've become a very passive person but I'm slowly climbing out of that - for me, that's my misery hole; for reflectors, it might be... uhhh.. glory hole?, no wait, that doesn't sound right.

You are so welcome!! ❤️ Hmm this could be a class on its own but one thing I would emphasize is focusing on cultivating a high sense of self-worthiness. Projectors have an innate desire to be recognized, but often forget to recognize themselves or see the value in themselves bc they’re so focused on the other. So cultivating self-love and self-worth, and recognizing ones innate value and worthiness internally, is so key to receiving that recognition externally.

Thank you for this video! It was one of the clearest and easiest to understand. I just found out that I’m a Manifestor and am so keen to learn how to live in this power! I’ve been doing a lot of reading and viewing, and most of the content out there focuses on what sounds like the limitations of being a manifestor - Eg. Repelling aura, lacks natural ability to inform, bulldozes people out of the way, can be alienating, etc. I’ve become super curious - what if you’re a manifestor by HD but don’t resonate with these descriptions (eg. Informing and communicating is one of my strengths and natural tendencies; based on feedback from other people, they feel safe and heard around me and often enjoy my gentle and fun-loving approach to work, tasks, relationships. While I have had a history of people-pleasing, it’s something I’ve continuously been working through)? I’d love to learn how to contextualise my HD into my life as I build a business whose intention is… positive ✨impact✨

Looove that you’re wanting to intentionally embrace this Manifestor energy more! 😍 As for what to do when things don’t resonate, I would take the general descriptions with a grain of salt - ultimately you decide what resonates with you. I don’t particularly like to use HD to “prescribe” to you who you are, but rather as a tool to help you best leverage your energy and provide deep insights to guide you towards what you know to be true for you. That’s what’s so magical about it! That said, you could also just simply be a Manifestor that’s already living in alignment and that’s wonderful! mybodygraph result was Projector, defined centers are the Ajna (Green), Throat (Brown?), G (Yellow), Solar Plexus (Brown?) and Root (Brown?) and the open centers are the Head, Heart, Sacral and Spleen (White). Are these colours consistent across various platforms that create these graphs or are they different? Do they represent anything? Hi Paul! Yes the colours are consistent across all platforms, but no they don't have any particular significance in terms of actual color (like green/brown/yellow, etc.). This is just something that was "channelled" hehe. What does have significance is whether they are coloured (defined = areas where you have a consistent output of energy and are a fixed part of your nature) or white (undefined/open = areas where you take in energy and may be more susceptible to conditioning).
