My Digestion type is 'low sound' and at first I thought my environment needed to be quiet, but now I understand that I need sound as the 'wiring' through which I can best intake food or life in general. So low sound isn't silence, sound it is necessary. For me low sound is more like soft (as in not loud), slow, low frequency, not too complicated music or sounds coming from my direct environment. Since I'm aware of this, I can really feel when it is the right kind of sound. Sometimes there is even too little sound and by opening the window, the sound of the birds in the garden will do the trick. If it's heavy rain for instance, then I need to close the window and it's the perfect muffled sound to eat with. Amazing isn't it? 🙂 It's almost 10 years ago when I first heard about HD. It's quite a journey.

As a low digestion I have found its about low frequency so electronics works best for me. No TV, no phone, ect. I enjoy conversations, birds, natural sounds, but the frequency from all this tech in our world has High frequency which people with high can definitely handle better. I also find places out of town help my mental digestion best as well. Loved reading your journey with it. Cheers

I am just learning about HD and I am a right facing Light Digestion and this is so bang on! I have almost my whole life skipped breakfast and always wondered why everyone says its so important. On sunny holidays I eat very little (often nothing until a late dinner), and I am definitely a night time snacker (the key for me being healthy snacks cause I love the candy!). I rarely have anything before 11am, and often I try and start my day with a smoothie and that takes me another several hours. I skip lunch often. Anyway, thank you for explaining ! I'm happy that my eating habits are actually right for me :-)

This is the most sensible explanation I have watched regarding my arrow and type and aura in regards to digestion. So thank you very much. My digestion is alternating and I do like intermittent fasting. I relate to when you said about liking a certain food and then you tend to be done with it for a while and will take it up again later. I watched one video that said the alternating was the ' Hunter' profile....eating only one thing and not using seasoning with even salt and pepper and I went 'Urh Urh !, , yes I am a Generator, lol. I wondered if that person was going to say to eat the steak raw too, so I was put off by this as you can imagine.

Is there a transference for every variable arrow? That's 4 places (including the original type) from itself right? So, for calm touch, would it be appetite consecutive? How does that work? Cuz we'll be ingesting the environment in such a way too sometimes correct?

I am light. I have had many tummy issues the last few years. I am still struggling to bring it back to balance and eat during the day instead of at night. I also hate wearing sunglasses. You’ve done a great job again. I just got my chart with the digestion info. Really interesting. Again, since lockdown, I’ve been being “lax” by eating later at night. Turns out that lockdown has been good for me as I guess I’m doing what dietitians say is wrong, but my profile says is right. Now I have a request. Would you consider doing some videos on Environments? You have been tremendous on the digestion and arrows. I would love to have your in-depth insights into Environments. I just found out I am Kitchens and I have no idea what that means.

For the longest time my chart said in-direct light which made a lot of sense. Recently my chart changed to passive touch which also makes some sense. I’m drawn to colors, and an adventurous eater. I pay a lot of attention to ingredients and the integrity of it. I do intermittent thing when my body is drawn to it and prefer to eat towards the afternoons and evenings. Breakfast and lunch doesn’t phase me. Whatever my chart says, I go with my intuition and listen to my body. I get a pop up image of a particular food, tea or fruits and I go find it and eat it until I am satisfied :D

The inconsistency of your chart could be the software. I use Jenna Zoe's system (myhumandesign.com) because she specifically designed it based on the inconsistencies she was noticing in other systems. Buuuuuuuut, it's all just an experiment and it sounds like you have a great intuitive relationship with food and that's what matters the most!

I am really bummed. Buzzing (nervous touch), does NOT resonate at all...I love food, I love cooking, I love looking at it, I love experiencing with every sense. I also don't have an inactive brain... so not sure what to make of this. Are there other factors super-imposed. Like the MG thing... I mean when I am on the go. I need energy and I wont forget to eat. Now, I don't have to eat. But I enjoy it. I also looked at Jenna's videos... and really either I am totally of course or there is something else in the design. I mean, I really like knowledge and learning. I don't think my brain is passive. I get the stillness part. inner vision - I find also difficult to grasp in relation to food, as she describes it. Why would I wanna make UP how my experience is going to be? I feel its setting me up for expecting something and then having to deal with the realness of the world. I am lookingfor the empowering message. I am confused. Any thoughts?

So I'm totally new to Human Design and I'm a Reflector. I used the same website that you mentioned in the part 1 video. But what I'm seeing for digestion is COLD FOOD, and then my strongest sense says INNER VISION. I'm not sure if those are related at all. I was hoping to get more clarity on that but I didn't find it in this video and I'm wondering if I missed it or if it's in another video. Could anyone help to instruct?
@TheSimplyCa3 жыл бұрын
As a reflector, the biggest thing for you to focus on is noticing what influences have you feeling engaged/good and what influences have you feeling disappointed/down. When it comes to your digestion (cold food/inner vision), you may find that you lean towards cooler foods (both in quality and temperature), and that you build up interest in ingesting (both food and your life) through visualizing it before experiencing it. I'm not cold food, but I am inner vision and I love to build up an excitement within myself as I think about putting ingredients together for a meal - what exciting thing will I create and I experience it in my mind, before I experience it in real life.

So I'm a direct light, but I work the night shift.... is it more about the hours of the day, when I eat in regards to my sleep, or light itself?
@TheSimplyCa3 жыл бұрын
@kylie commented a thought about maybe veering towards veg grown above ground (direct light) vs root veg (indirect light) - unsubstantiated, but an interesting concept for sure! The concept is intended to be during the daylight hours vs the night hours - for you, this could mean that your heavier meals are while the sun is up, and then as you work, it's lighter fare (including those chlorophyll-containing, above-ground veggies).

Gotta be honest, indirect light is a STRUGGLE. 😂 I love eating outside, though I don't do it often. But more challenging, when I don't get a decent amount of light I feel really sleepy (and sometimes depressed)! So spending most of my time in the dim, or shifting my schedule to more nighttime, has been a really daunting recommendation. That said, I am experimenting with drinking liquids as long as I can before starting to eat meals during the day, and I do find that I both a) don't like to eat first thing and b) am less likely to need a nap and be all groggy if I eat smaller meals during the day, whereas this doesn't seem to happen to me at night.

That's a super interesting energy discovery! I'm also curious if eating outside, but in the shade would be a thing to play with.

I am indirect as well. I didn't realize that until now cause I am just learning. I really found this summer I ate very little in the day time, the hot sunny weather does not make me hungry at all. I supposedly am sensitive to light and so are you, and that could mean we get energy from light literally and don't need food energy as badly? I also get lethargic when I have a big lunch, I have to go to sleep too. I think maybe that is another indirect way of digestion cause ultimately sleep is going dark?? just thoughts :-)
@AvoryFaucette2 жыл бұрын
@@jennyg6782 That's an interesting interpretation about getting energy from light! Interestingly, a year on, while I've definitely stopped trying to experiment with a super flipped schedule, I have had some changes. I was able to figure out an underlying fatigue condition and when I did that, my metabolism sped WAY up. Part of that condition is that I actually can't recline until bedtime or I get sleepy. So I think the food was a contributor, but also the slow metabolism and just needing to be upright. What I've found is that while I still do best when I get SOME sunlight each day, getting up around 9-10 is the best happy medium, and often straight-up forget to eat until I've been up for 3 or even up to 6 hours. So in that way, it's totally right! But I had to heal the other issues around my energy to actually understand that, as well as some pretty major sacral burnout. It's given me a different perspective on the whole "wait a year and a half of strategy + authority before you even touch arrows" recommendation-I found it a little dogmatic, but I'm understanding more now how it's not just about living your S+A as a practice but also about the healing you might have to do around your overall energy and form if you've been living from not-self for a long time! Your mileage may vary, Jenny, but just a perspective depending on where you're coming into HD from 🙂

@@AvoryFaucette I havent heard anything about waiting some time to touch on the arrows, but maybe I need to start from another point in the chart.....but just intuitively for whatever reason since a child have always not liked breakfast. I am glad that you found out about your condition and was able to make it work better for you. And I think it is good that you can not eat when you wake up and know its totally fine for you! I am glad to have that discovery now :-) I have been through some crap and have done lots of inner work and now trying to figure out what I should "do" here, and so the HD is a nice new perspective on myself to understand myself better. I also have inner vision as my strongest sense and perhaps I need to embrace that more :-)
