I don't find this part in the book. But to me, it's good that it's added in the movie. "What matters is what we believe"

I believe that it is an eternal classic that never feels outdated, as it is based on ancient content, incorporating actual words from the Bible, as well as elements of nonfiction woven into the novel and film.

Tom hanks might just be the greatest actor. i keep shuffling the list but he is that list of top 5 and the same names shuffle around

It's odd. He is one of my top actors too, probably in top 3 yet he only has 2 movies in my top 30 movies, Philadelphia and Cast Away

An Ancient Tile Mosaic recently found in Israel ✡️ has MARY MAGDALENE 🌙 and JESUS ☀️ Encircled by 12 Disciples. Is pictured on an Internet Image called THE GNOSTIC GOSPEL OF MARY MAGDALENE by James Bean. That can be compared to America's Statue of Liberty 🗽

I'm glad that the most loyal fans of such movies, myself included, can still understand and appreciate all their significant messages and indeed movies like The Da Vinci Code.

So he finds the grail at the end of the movie. Did he tell Sophie the site afterwards? Did she prove it to the world? That would’ve rattled EVERYONE.

That's something left for each of us do decide and create on our own. Some imagine he kept it to himself, he let Sophie know or someone killed him before he could reveal it but sent a message to Teacher before he died, who knows.

there is actually a sequel to the book, in that Langdon has a new adventure as seen in the sequel film also. I don't think Sophie or Langdon revealed it to the world as there was no mention of them.

I would have liked to see him on the phone speaking to someone but be able to hear the conversation as the credits rolled

Langdon didn't reveal it in the world. The sequel book "The Lost Symbol" made a lot of references in this previous book. Langdon thought that Mal'akh was after the grail, but he wasn't.

Considering the sequel shows the Catholic church still around having not been brought down by this secret being revealed, I'd say they didn't.

In the another books, he also kissed Vittoria Vetra. I guess the movie adaptations don't want him to appear to be a womanizer.

The words he spoke rang true like a bell that reverberates. The Spiritual sentiment brought forth mirrors what any person faces in times of crisis. The scene is great and was thinking about it this morning.
