Hello everyone, I have one correction to make from the video. I said it was only Peter going into the court following Jesus, but there was another disciple in the court (John 18:15). It was my mistake not to mention about the other disciple and I apologize for that. Thank you for watching my video and giving wonderful feedback!

Please read Luke chapter 22 if you would like to know why they had swords with them at Gethsemane. The reason Peter cut the ear was so that scripture could be fulfilled. Peter should have been arrested for the crime but Jesus healed the victim and Peter was not arrested with him Luke 22: 37For I tell you that this Scripture must be fulfilled in Me: ‘And He was numbered with the transgressors.’c For what is written about Me is reaching its fulfillment.” 38So they said, “Look, Lord, here are two swords.” John 18 :8 Jesus answered, “I told you that I am he. If you are looking for me, then let these men go.” 9 This happened so that the words he had spoken would be fulfilled: “I have not lost one of those you gave me.”[a] By the way, friend, you also mentioned that the other disciples fled while Peter stayed with Jesus. You are mistaken. John stayed with Jesus and it was because of John that Peter was allowed in to the courtyard. The reason Peter was there was not because of Peter's will, but to fulfil what Jesus had said that Peter will deny him before the roster is heard.

Thank you so much for your feedback and correction. You are right! It is my mistake not to mention about another disciple being at the courtyard. I will make the correction. Yes, it is also correct that Peter's sword incident was to fulfill Scripture. Fulfilling Scripture is the ultimate reason. But I was talking about Peter's intention at that moment of incident, which was rebuked by Jesus (John 18:11).
