They don't know who the body is yet. I live in corpus Christi. They said yesterday there is no evidence of a homicide and that the body has been down there longer than Caleb has been missing. It will be weeks before they know who it is. We have at least 4 people missing in 2024.

You blew right by the tech drawings! Someone in the public works dept. Knew something was wrong. Either the main that fed this station was backing up (or folks in the serviced area were backing up AND notified Pub wrks) OR the lift station was malfunctioning. (remember...there are sensors etc that will trigger a notification to PW's) The pumps are obviously masorators , which, by design chew up solids before ejection. Although we cannot see it or specifically know the size of "the main" , we can assume the "screen" that was most probably clogged by the remains is B4 the wet well.

On Monday, 624 at 3 PM, CW was at the pump house to perform routine maintenance on the pump and deep well when they noted “pieces of remains” floating on the sewage. CWW investigated, located torso/ badly decomposed remains 17 feet down up in the pump. the well meeting. Hazmat team had to drain all 40 feet of RAW sewage from the tank in order to recover the remains it took hours. Sewage system is separate from water drainage. The manholes are only 5-6 feet, manhole covers 48 in. in diameter, 260 lbs, iron & concrete. The manholes located where intersect with the main sewer lines whenever the sewer line changes direction and regular intervals all the way along. The diameter of main sewer lines gets larger, closer to the pump facility, the sewer lines 18 - 36 inches, 4 inches when they your home.

The Reddit thing is the most likely reason he went missing. He likely met up with someone there at the bridge. He either fell into a manhole or he was put in the manhole. It’s sad but it’s the most likely reason he went missing.

The screen is on the pumps at the bottom. The screens on the pumps protect them thats the cutter blases. When they get plug and the waste water starts to rise they have float ball shut offs on them and they shut off automatically. That send an alarm to the operator or maintenence to come out and turn on pump two.

He could have been down there the whole time ,cadaver dogs may not have been able to pick up his scent with it being in a sewerage pipe as the scents are similar and it would have a masking effect

Fog doesn't look that thick that it would interfere with vision in his immediate area, darkness more so. And I agree if a manhole was missing or open or displaced that would be the first place to look. They said this entire area was extensively searched, did that include cctv lines down the sewer pipes, usually how they determine blockages and leaks etc that would be interesting.

If the lid was off he may have fallen in and hit his head , perhaps he was blocked in the pipe and the alarm went off thats how they found him

Don't overthink the manhole entry point. If you have to hide ditch the body of your vic, you not gonna chance a manhole which is right there in public, with 99% chance a vehicle will be coming down that road. Especially if it was in the daytime. Bodies are rarely found in things like huge water tanks, ceptics and lift stations, like it hardly happens, so this is the best option for long term hiding. All you need to do is breach the gate (hard kick prolly) and the lid of the tank and you good. no traffick to worry about.

And I was THE ONLY ONE a couple months ago when this case started picking up steam to say I thought he started walking barefoot in the drainage ditch and NO ONE believed me. One lady replied with "eww..!"

it will take between 4 and 6 weeks before DNA results !!! PLUS they found remains at another station about 10 miles away !!!

They didn't find another body that day. They just went to the other water place to talk to knowledgeable people.

Do you remember a young man going missing I think it was last summer. He had only one hand and I believe he was a black man. It was a strange place he went missing. Not sure but it might have been around that area. I don't think he's been found.

Finding bodies in lift stations isn’t unusual. He maybe fell in the canal he was standing by when he took the Snapchat pic. If you google “human remains found in lift station,” you’ll see several cases I’m sure. One of my neighbors worked for the DPW and told me this.

From previous reports, the water in that canal was very shallow and extensively searched. So if that is Caleb in the lift station, his remains most likely ended up there some other way.

Thank you for your work. I drove to that location right after work. Wow it’s not where I expected him to have been. All along I thought he was missing on the Ennis Joslin side by the Cayo del Oso across the university directly across the street from Hans Suter Park by the waste water treatment facility. No , he was on the other side of the freeway and the body was found in a drainage canal by a lift station. And that location is sort of more remote one in terms of accessibility by any passing observers or traffic. I got the feeling of heebie jeebies driving past it. Because if foul play were involved, the cover of darkness would make it ideal to dump a body. It is pretty much hidden from casual observation and interaction with the public.despite some nearby homesteads on a pretty obscure street named Lexington which despite is approximate location by the freeway isn’t well traveled. By the way , not saying it could be the case, but the wetlands area can be occasionally inhabited or visited by alligators, some of which can be rather large and travel quite a distance up the drainage canals in Corpus Christi and the surrounding wetland areas . It is possible a gator could have seized a person falling into the ditches and dragged and drowned and possibly tear off a limb…just a possible scenario…hopefully not the case. Blessings on Caleb and prayers for his family and law enforcement.

I want to know who’s is the person that took that video on the side road? It would be on feed road of SPID South Padre Island Drive? I have also heard that video was not made that night. But was a vehicle towed away from that wreck and why is there not more questions on this accident that happened? Was it an accident because it was foggy and did they actually hit Caleb and then didn’t want to be charged for murder? I live not far from where Caleb lived. So I have been searching for him myself for months. So many questions with no answers.

I still think a gator got ahold of him in the ditch and took him to the manhole just my opinion that would be why he dropped dog off and went barefoot to go check out a gator that late in morning gators feed and was breeding season when he went missing idk just throwing that out there gators can travel through sewage drains seen it before
