For me, the 1st red flag about Andre was that initial hospital visit. Who goes to the hospital looking for your spouse and leaves without checking in on her/him? He left because of his phone? He didn't want to see his wife after he "confirmed" she was a patient? That part didn't make sense.

Psychologically to a man especially one that loves his wife it is devastating. Not giving him a pass because he's doing the time but she should have left him. She ruined 3 lives. He just was built differently than what women think a man should be like. Man of action. Military record shows. This is such a sad story. She was too young to get married. Then she still loved someone else, even though (I believe) she loved her husband, but not enough to not cheat. Still…for her life to be taken like this is horrendous. To up and say what he said…I’m in disbelief. Doesn’t he have military training? Plus, to do all he said he did at the end to the body is even more horrendous. Who does that type of thing to anyone’s body. I feel badly for the child…she’s going to learn about all this someday. Even if she’s not sure what to think…the part where he set her body on fire and kept hammering her body…etc…I would think is enough for her to have a lot of doubt what happened. I will put the child and her grandparents in my prayers.

Poor choices often lead to undesirable outcomes. Although he should not have killed her, the fact remains that she chose deceit over honesty. It is never wise to play with other people's emotions. Nevertheless, her ego got the better of her. Rather than informing him that she no longer wished to be with him, she let her ego and fear of losing half of everything she had worked for take control. Likely enjoying the thrill of having an affair behind her husband's back, she foolishly played with fire and got burned. So, yes; it was also her fault for being a 304.

If he'd killed her right after finding out the meaning of those tattoos his defense team would probably have had a much easier time by arguing it was a crime of passion. Bad jokes aside he should have removed himself from that situation, filed for divorce, got half of her business as he financed it and raised his daughter. We normally see rich men betraying their wives, so this case has taught me power can corrupt men and women equally when it comes to marriage. Those tattoos meant she had zero consideration for her husband. That must have been very hurtful for him.

He seems like he was very controlling. She was independent and driven to succeed. She wanted out of the marriage, but she was tied to him through the business. It was a no win situation. People cheat when they're unhappy, when they resent a partner being controlling, etc. It would have been so much better if she could have bought him out and they went their separate ways. They could have had the grandmas handle visitation drop off and pick up, and never had to see each other again. But I'm guessing there was some element of control with him. That level of violence to the point where he kills her, then goes one further and mutilates her corpse? Geez...

I do wonder if she filed for divorce and split everything in half would he be okay with that. He loaned her money for the business. Idk if he’d be okay with part of his money going to another man. Idk…

This is why you dont cheat and don't play with people's emotions. Dude is a piece of crap and scumbag for what he did but she could have walked away knowing she loved her ex and was cheating she could of took a little money she would lose in the divorce over playing with the man's emotions and poking the bear. Getting tattoos of your exs b day and his initial. Just saying this all could have been avoided.

He could've walked away too. Just because someone hurts our feelings, breaks our hearts, or wrongs us doesn't justify taking someone's life! Apparently, his father has done the same thing twice. That's why he feels he had a right to do what he did I guess 😡and he will most likely do this again in the future. So many people get cheated on and don't let it come to this. Some are just vengeful, rageful and controlling. The only time I could see someone POSSIBLY being justified in a passion killing is if you catch them in bed together in your own home. Otherwise, it's revenge and a way to take back control. People need to learn to be adults and control their emotions and reactions to things as painful and difficult as it may be and feel at the time it'll be worth it in the long run. If not you'll be in the jail or prison system, or in the ground.

He should have walked away! He is a cold blooded murderer…. Yet you want to blame the victim. Outrageous!

Manslaughter is correct. He killed her, but doesn't deserve to be in prison the rest of his life. This is why you don't cheat on your spouse. And to get matching tatts with her ex?! She played with fire and got burned.

I am trying to wrap my mind around this sad case. I want to condemn Andreen for her actions but in the meantime, it does not justify her being murdered so brutally! For a man that moved from Jamaica and became a Major in the Air Force, that right there builds a lot of pride in a man, and then he helped her build her business? That may have given him a sense of ownership over her! It seems to me that Andre’s rage came from feeling emasculated by his wife as she went back to Jamaica to rekindle an old flame, especially a dude who is allegedly a street king; and then she secretly created another account to move the money. He could have let her go, and start over. But it is easier said than done! Andre’s mind was probably already darkened by rage. There was a lack of humility from both side that led to an emotional cocktail Molotov. Many doors were already opened to the devil for the perfect storm leading to Andreen and Andre’s demise. «We battle not against flesh and blood, but spiritual forces…»
