That space cowboy looks like Brisco County, Jr. He always was looking for the coming thing. As a Southerner, I approve of Ambassador Johnson's dialect.

B12 is what enabled humanity to develop their brains, B12 is in meats. Lack of meat = smooth brains. Alcohol though, that will rot a brain alright. Man I got to love the accents and voices. LMAO

We don't suppose that Ambassador Johnson mentioned that the Grox were also highly valued as service animals, did he?

So, the Southeastern US culture has taken over the whole planet? Huh. Whodathunkit? I don't think it's realistic, but sure. 🤷
@johndowds57706 ай бұрын
Of course it's not realistic ,it's science FICTION.
@taitano126 ай бұрын
@@johndowds5770 The most scientifically and socially accurate sci-fi always has something unrealistic to it. As much as I poke fun at the "planet of the hats"* trope, it's honestly one of the easiest and most fun tropes. I certainly enjoyed it in this story. Monoculture planets can be fun in the way this story is, or fun in the horror story way, like a planet wide McCarthyism or Fascism government. The "planet of the hats" name for the trope comes from ST-TOS episode where everyone dressed like 1920s to 1940s downtown Chicago.

Cacophony is overly used in these stories. clamor, commotion, tumult. The authors need to mix it up a bit.

Quite the good story this was. The only drawback was the Western themed background that I'm not what you may call a fan... to put it lightly.
@Reh81117 ай бұрын
I liked the story but the southern accent I found very hard on the ears and not really realistic for the story timeline. But it was a good story.
