This movie became one of my favourite Canadian films to ever come out in 2024. You got some shades of knives out and ready or not mix it all together into one dark package it’s great

On a previus review, I belive it was Black Phone, you mentioned that Joe Hill's stories tended to be more hopefull than his dads, specifically in wheter or not the alcoholic father figure can be redeemed, Now you reach the oposite conclusion with the Cronenberg Family. At first i thought that was a diference in Parenting Style, or a Generational thing (the Cronenbergs are a decade younger), but the more i think about it, its a diference on the storytelling. King/Hill do Character Studies, the Cronenbergs do Social Comentary, and in our western world view the Individual is virtuous but the sistem Is broken i thing the point i am trying to make is #IamanAlly

I really miss the horror guru classic horror movie reviews. No disrespect but I love those reviews so much and I I wish they'd come back. This review was insightful and has me wanting to see it .
