On my Toyota I apply the "handbrake" by pushing with my left foot (right side driving in the USA). I release it by pushing again. Katowice has changed quite a bit since I last visited around 1982. And the roads in the DDR and Poland also vastly improved. Wondering if Police and other officials are still as corrupt as they were by then, nothing would move forward without a little bribe.
