In 1012 I purchased a beautiful peace of land with a rotted house on it for 87k. The only thing that I pay for is $350 a month on property tax and about $80 a month on electricity. I also pay $20 for my cell phone, $45 for internet and an average of $60 a month on food for me and my cat. Yes, I have a vehicle and pay those cost as well but I don't drive that much at all. It's hard to spend less than what I spend a month. I'm considering selling my place and getting a nice sail boat to travel the world. I'm somewhat done with land life and need a big change in my life but I also have two lots so I will keep one just in case I want to come back and build a small home on it. I'm a carpenter by trade so I can build a home all by myself without hiring any labor to help me which will save me a lot of money.

Great introductory video. I have an important question: How does travelling full time in a Diesel vehicle impact climate change? When will driving a diesel vehicle for world travel become unacceptable, if not already? What is the solution? This is an important discussion which is usually avoided, but crucial in terms of environmentally sustainable long term world travel. …should we all be cycle touring instead of driving trucks? I’m interested to hear your thoughts on this.

😂....this looks like a decent $7500 camper on a $25 000 truck😂
@GerardoTostado22 күн бұрын
At 200k I don’t think you can say it’s to save money. You could’ve bought a house I Colorado and doubled your money by now. That vehicle you won’t ever sell for more than 80k. Economically makes no sense.
@lifewithlarsandsusie831522 күн бұрын
That’s what I was thinking. Such a neat setup but so expensive.
@pattipietrowski323922 күн бұрын
They said that is the approximate value. They got lots of great sponsors, so I take that to mean they didn't have to pay anywhere near that sum.

@CorradoRacer19 күн бұрын
1k-2K / MONTH and car insurance, starlink etc....that's still expensive, same cost of living in a house or apt....and the fact no bathroom. I doesn't really make sense imo! I know you get to travel and outdoor life...but the expenses are still high. If it was around 700-800 month then yeahhh
