The TTS wasn't bad, but the usual problems remain; breaks in the wrong place, inflections wrong, etc. Good little prelude to a novel.

I get they pounded us back to Stone Age. The Pyramids, Atlantis, other stories. But even if we advanced again. Unless galaxy stagnated. They should have advanced.

Stagnation is normal for civilisations as they grow (see Earth history) unless a threat is faced.

Some monkeys became omnivores, fought with each other, evolved, and eventually they became humans... humans who are still fighting against each other... and which continue to evolve because of it. For their part, the monkeys continued to hunt bananas, instead of animals, and after tens of millions of years... they are still monkeys. Their evolution has stagnated.
