Well, I am Canadian military and I can't say I even noticed any profanity... It's not like you have been on operations for months, hardly get a shower the whole time and come home to ask your wife to pass the fucking salt at supper! And actually, I think this is a great post. Umm, I subscribed, but I do not even have a dog!

After 23 months in Vietnam, Mother told me to clean up my language or stay out of her house. Guess who liked home cooking too much to go that route.

I served 40 years ago in the Cold War, securing Nukes at an Air Force base… On my first leave after graduating my training, my updated vocabulary leaked out once walking in the front door to Mom’s house as my dog leaped on me to give his best “I MISSED YOU” hello… Me-.. “Hey you little “f&(/; I missed you too.. gib me hugz.” Mom- “oh Mark.. (sad look, lip quivering). Oops, sorry Mom, didn’t mean to let that slip, my updated US Air Force ENLISTED vocabulary… but,, hey, I’ll be good.. I promise. But just around her.. 😅

I love tank stories and I was REALLY interested and looking forward to listening to this story from the title and artwork of futuristic tanks alone. In my eagerness to listen, I failed to read the caption and missed that clue. With respect, profanity is never required to add to the narration of a well written story, especially the "F" word. As much as I was looking forward to listening this story when I started, and I was, I was heavily put off with an "F" bomb 7 seconds in and with three "F" bombs in the first 17 seconds I abandoned the story at that point. Yes, profanity exists in the military in real life but that doesn't mean it's a good thing. Again, with respect, even if it's a wonderful story, I don't need that kind of polution in my brain and because of it I felt the need to do something I try not to do which was to vote a thumb down to warn others off due to the profanity. Please consider reposting this without the profanity. I would really like to hear it, not not the way it is now.
