Continuity is non existent here. Empire sends one scout ship. Earth fires without knowing the intent. The scout ship limps back to orbit to it's mother ship. Then earth starts building orbital platforms, with the empire fleet circling. Then earth reverse engineers tech from the scout ship, that went back to orbit. You can not reverse engineer something you can't get your hands on. And a fleet surrounding you is not going to give you time to build defenses. 8.21 minutes is all I could take of this.

Love the awesome story, but how on earth The Galactic Empire got through the asteroid belt, the story of Anunnaki one of then took a ship to leave the planet Niribus to pass through the asteroid belt to found out the ancient of sumerian text. Sorry but each story have it own complication and hardship through the detail to make a real as possible, you don't want the story to be as easy. Primary Defence is earth: to secure and protect. Asteriod belt should be first line of Gate-Defenders. And finally Solar System Buoy to transmitting to all intrusion will be forced to any attenpt to fight what is ours. I've been made my own scenario's storyline 30s some year ago, and we all know if aliens destroy the moon it will affect earth gravity that can cause each season that earth need, even the other planets in our solar system can affect the natural force with earth evolution
