One thing people need to realize is it Pokemon were not originally intended to be animals they were intended to be Yokai chaotic spirits of nature so there were intended to be normal animals in the Pokemon world. Also Gardevoir only recently got put into the human like egg group I think it was gen 7 or 8

Considering that human trainers often dress the part of their theme... It's possible that this is an effect of past pokemon relationships. And considering there is a human-like pokemon egg group... and that Ash can tank a hyper beam, we can infer that humans are the scariest pokemon.

Plus we know that some humans can use Aura, psychic powers, fighting moves, several Normal and Dark moves (scratch, fury swipes, tackle, skull bash, bite, crunch, thief, knockoff, etc.), bullet seed, grass whistle, rock climb, surf, dive, and more. This implies that humans have a very diverse movepool with lots of good coverage. This would be incredibly useful competitively.

Regarding animals in the Pokémon World: When the first games were released, Red and Green took place in an alternate version of the real world, the Kanto region of Japan circa 1996 (present day at the time). It was intended to be the same as the real Earth except that sometime in the recent past, mysterious creatures were identified among regular plants and animals. It wasn't really until Gen 3 that they started moving the franchise in a new direction, hence why normal animals are seen in early anime episodes, card art, and promotional material

Honestly, I think humans are a special pokemon like ditto but reverse. They can breed any pokemon of opposite gender and instead of the eggs species being decided by the other partner like in dittos case. It's always human. I could go on and explain why I think people are special pokemon I the pokemon world. But rather then go on a tangent. I'll point out the many cases of people turning into pokemon like ghosts and Kadabra. Note Kadabra is in the human like egg group, and most ghosts are in the amorphous egg group. But the only confirmed case or atleast heavily implied case is the Froslasss in legends. In which it mirrors a real world story of a man who married a yukionna and had kids with her. Given the mission is given by their human decedent and Froslass is female only and also not in the human or amorphous egg group. This is the only conclusion I can come to. Edit: oh I also want to point out that the man didn't know he was married to a froslass even after she had a kid. Which would normally be an egg. Meaning it's really likely she gave BIRTH like a normal human. This is very unsettling given that the lore in the Sinnoh games gives no examples to a specific species when talking about marriage. And even alludes to their being no difference between man and pokemon. Meaning a Mimikyu a pokemon like a foot tall might be able to give birth to a normal sized baby. Oh yeah and it's a ghost and in the amorphous egg group.

It's clear humans have the ability to use special powers but. The biggest evidence is what most likely is human ancestors Oranguru, the pokemon that can control other pokemon. Then there's the fact we learned exactly how pokeballs are made in legends. And none of the parts allow mind control. Humans are the ones controlling them, but it gets worse. Every step they take, the pokemon likes them more, which is crazy in legends, making them do slave labor like collecting stones or berries increases it as well. Not only does the trainer have mind control, but also slowly, brain washes the pokemon without knowing. They also have 4 moves. Fight, Pokemon, bag, and run. Plus, pokemon in the wild never have EVs even tho they fight other pokemon in the wild. They only gain evs when used by a trainer. Plus, the freindship boosts. Z moves and megas require a trainer to use. Pokemon trainers not only have some crazy mind control powers that can even subdue legendary pokemon but also have some sort of power to improve them. And seemingly aren't bound to a single type as there's hex maniacs, psychics, and fairy girls all seemingly with super natural powers. All I'm saying is that people in the pokemon world are OP, and there's probably a good reason they are the dominant species.

For that egg group thing: I believe the reason humans aren't in any pokemon's egg group is the same reason why they can't be caught in a pokeball, use moves, etc: because they don't have enough sufficient whatever that is that powers pokemon's vitality, moves, etc. However, since pure Aura is somehting that can be used by a lot of pokemon, most notably the Lucario line, AND some humans can indeed use Aura given enough potential and training, it might not be too far of a stretch to assume that these Aura-adept humans can infact breed with similarly Aura adept pokemon. This might also tie to the "previously humans and pokemon are the same" lore. This means it's theoretically plausible for a Lucario to mate with Sir Aaron, Ash Ketchum, and similar Aura-adepts. If that girl has a hint of Aura in her, she's fucked, literally.

2 things: 1 - There is at least one example of real-world creatures in Pokemon I know of, and that is an early episode of the 1st season. Ash runs across both Pidgey and Pidgeotto, and though I forget which, one of them is eating a worm out of the ground (like birds usually do) when Ash finds it. 2 - Noble says ball gag with the Gardevoir/Correct Gaming Posture meme, but given the rest of Gardy's appearance in the second pic my mind saw a mini-microphone.

Such as Zorua and Zoroark being from Unova but the movie they first showed up in ,Zoroark - Master of Illusions, was the last movie to take place in Sinnoh.

As far back as the first episode of the anime, we were shown there were more than 151 Pokemon, because Ash saw Ho-Oh overhead. Then, before the end of their journey in Kanto, Misty hatched Togepi. And for that matter, most, if not all seasons show off Pokemon from the next gen shortly before ending, not just the movies. Ash lost the Johto league to a Blaziken, for example, and May had a Munchlax.

Alright, I just looked on Bulbapedia really quick, and I appreciate how the artist at 9:42 paired the concerned trainers with Human-Like Pokémon, while the last guy was simply with a bipedal one. While his reaction can just be taken as a comedic reversal (especially with Meowscarada's reaction), I have trouble leaving well enough alone, so here's my headcanon on this difference: The answer to their question is generally "no", most Egg Groups cannot produce viable eggs with humans. However, the Human-Like Egg Group specifically is still hotly debated among researchers, as it has been observed that of all known cases where trainers and their Pokémon "exceed maximum Friendship" (wink, wink), that egg group is involved in the vast majority. Even the runner-up, Field, which is equal to all other egg groups' reports combined, is still a somewhat distant second. Additionally, in most egg groups' reportings (even Field), it's usually the bipedal Pokémon that are observed in such relations, although exceptions are known to exist. By contrast, every known Pokémon in the Human-Like egg group has been reported at least once, with Gardevoir reportings in particular being speculated as the tipping point for Galar researchers reclassifying that line as Human-Like, rather than strictly Amorphous like most researchers initially observed. Them's just my two cents though, I don't see Game Freak directly addressing this matter EVER.
