I had a level 100 Gardevoir named Lily I caught as a level 4 Ralts twenty years ago, and I caught a level 4 Ralts in Scarlet Version who is now a level 100 Gardevoir named Lily who, without my trying to set this up, has the exact same stats, nature, and moves, minus Hypnosis back then swapped for Moonblast now. What happened to og Lily? Couldn't transfer up from RSE? Sorry if brings bad memories, just curious, and... well because of that I get it. My Charizard in Red, you can't transfer that up, had many good times with it... and yet my Fire Red Charizard felt like a spiritual successor, carrying on the torch, all the way up to now, transferring between all the games, getting ribbons for beating all the champions (on rematches, wouldn't be fair if I used on initial team in a new game), it even helped me beat Red not just in HGSS, but to become a champion among champions beating Red again in our finals of the PWT... which looking at Ash now is ironic and wholesome, cause his lineup of opponents was eerily similar. I faced Steven, then Cynthia, and while Leon didn't exist, it came down to my FR Charizard, named Blaze vs his Charizard, I pulled off a win just barely because my Charizard decided to outspeed his and crit thunderpunch his.

Funny thing about Liko, one of the new anime protagonists, she might not even exist in the same universe as Ash. Considering the new series might start out in Paldea just like Scarlet and Violet did I imagine even if several years past the people over there won't even know who Ash is unless the ending does a "He moved to Paldea, married a woman there and instead of Geeta is now the chairman of the League there." though I believe that would be slightly unlikely but who knows. If you take the game Fire Emblem Awakening for example Chrom canonically marries an unkown blonde haired woman, that could just be the case here, we will see.

the moment i found a female Eevee, i evolved it into Leafeon. It even has the Grass-Tera typ. I love Leafeon. I let it learn Dig to mess with Pokémon who would have an advantage. Sounds silly? Maybe. I never used my legendaries in my normal playthrough. They're always 20 levels higher than my starting team and I personally don't like it.
