This is a lovely episode. Just the fact that Dr Sid said all the ritual that one does say it's in spirituality, manifestation processes , visualization etc whatever it is, if it's giving a frame work for your life and day go for it. We have that dot on the map and the blue line laid out and all the micro-decision choices round the day kind of turns us towards that dot on the map. I loved how he spoke with so much clarity and based only on science evidence over multiple topics. Did not look down on anything and made statements which has been scientifically proven till now.

Fantástic!!’ 😊😊😊 Your prayer is called the Serenity Prayer 🙏. Understanding what you can and cannot change comes from your biological brain, but the wisdom to discern the difference comes from faith. Serenity is a peace that only God can provide-the reason behind all things! Faith is distinct from religion.

I'm a holistic psychiatrist and I would love to debate Dr Sid. Loved his immense knowledge and his experience. I have my own life experience and would love to compare notes. Ultimately, matters of spirituality can only be subjectively experienced and then one understands what others further along have been saying. It cannot be objectively studied. Also, if your instruments are unable to measure the energies, it does not prove its absence.

Very insightful conversation. Neuroscience defines many aspects of our mind, as nicely explained by Dr. Sid Warrier. While our mind has the power to elevate ourselves like a friend, it can also degrade our mind like an enemy of the self, which is profoundly expressed in the Bhagavat Gita chapter 6, verse 5 as follows: "uddhared ātmanātmānaṁ nātmānam avasādayet ātmaiva hyātmano bandhur ātmaiva ripur ātmanaḥ."

Karishma again, wonderful content. I am a big fan of your channel and keep looking forward to all your episodes. By chance I happened to meet this enlightened master in South India at an ayurvedic hospital. This guy is unexplored by anyone so far but is the real deal. His wisdom is coming from a much deeper place that is not learnt from books. Please share me your mail ID and I will send his details. If you get him on your channel, trust me, you will break the internet. He is unlike any spiritual master you would have ever met. He looks like one of us, works for a living, doesn't go around claiming to be an enlightened master, is married with kids and family, has no followers, takes no money and in the truest sense a real embodiment of Karma Yogi. The world needs to meet him and listen to him. When you think people can benefit from listening to Urfi Javed, I am sure he can definitely add more value. Please don't go by what I say, please talk to him, meet him and make your own judgement 😊

Good talk....people read, hear to various scientist or artists or masters etc, we filter and digest the way we want it. It's like food. Ancient texts, art works etc get polluted in language. So they use mathematics in science as it's fixed value unlike language or words. Example: positive thinking....what does even mean? Can it be only Good things? Not at all, even so called bad be positive. Anything "Postured" (acted with) with an intent for a result is "Pose - It - Ve". One must posture it. Gita is meditation or sleep or yoga nidra explained. The internal yoga of knowledge, action & Experience is Jnana, karma & bhakti. It's informed Imagination practically done. Gita was given to Arjuna directly & rest all knows it through Sanjaya - a professional & sleep. Why professional directly & sleep (Sanjaya, a servant to blind king)? Gita happens for rest in sleep & for a qualified in practise. So, it's not for all. The primate brain (blind king) learn about body, mind union in & through sleep. A professional can do it with practise. Thus it's How to Sleep & how to meditate (informed Imagination). States of deficiency versus sufficiency. That's what decides the result - driven by genetic with help of environment.

All these things are told to us by bhagwan Krishna in Bhagavad geeta. Doing our duty ( dharma) so that our ego is not fed. By doing this we are not giving rise to wrong intentions in our own head. Do Samarpan of our actions to bhagwan and not attaching to fruits will help detach from the actions. The reason y mental health is not easy to understand may be because our intentions , actions and circumstances, past experiences, external influences are different in each situation because of which we should do what's required. Doing other things might end up causing more confusions and instability to our mind because of which we end up making wrong decisions in life.
