@@dinazaman7418 very vaid point. valuing criticism and feedback is important for our growth. And it takes a lot of courage to “listen” and adapt. However, believing in every piece of criticism is also a sign of low self-esteem. That’s why emotional regulation & the journey within is so important 🙏

Same thinking of mine as well. Such simple words put together to create gems of wisdom. There is no way we can say who is right or wrong but all this wisdom Dr. Sid said can be used as escape therapy to safeguard our self. Articulation of questions from Shobha also top notch though in the beginning felt like she moved forward without follow-up question.

It is funny you should say that because this is one interview when she spoke more than the guest giving long monologues of her own. The purpose of an interview gets defeated if the anchor doesn't listen more and elicit expert opinion from the expert.

Sobha Before saying anything I would like to thank you very much. The height to which you have taken this dialogue is simply wonderful. The difficulty of the Internet is not less, so many channels, so much content, it is a matter of choosing the right one.Expertise is essential. But it is more important to be able to adopt and apply it in relation to living. There was no Jergon in your dialogue, the speech was clear. As a moderator, the way you took the dialogue forward, your thought process was so spontaneous, It was amazing. The discussion has been very rich. And as usual it has its limitations. When it comes to mental health, the topic of balance comes up. Doctor says that which is beyond our control, it is better not to attempt. But it is not easy to decide how much we can, where to stop. You also have this question in your mind. In fact, our limitations are not only natural or biological. Our borders are formed by social economic political culture. And many times we have to take the risk of crossing for a new world. To be honest, I fell in love with you. Not because you are very good looking or your presence is very good, if this dialogue had been broadcast on radio the result would have been the same. Thank you.

Shifting the paradigm from knowing to action needs support and as rightly said in this session teaching these techniques and tools to live a fulfilling life at school level would really work. Best way to start is parents and teachers come together to alter their pattern and conditions, such that next generation is living a great life hereafter

So far the most marvelous podcast I have come across. Thank you for doing this Shobha and asking such relevant questions. You literally picked his brain to the best capacity. It was such an eye opening podcast. Dr. Sid, thanks to you for giving your 17 years to this field and then enlightening us with this knowledge. You're a God sent. Have been listening to you since I saw your Traya podcast. It's like finally I am getting a wake up call. Thanks for sharing your Clinic Address. I'll come meet you one day. I have to personally say thanks to you ❤ I don't know if you'll read this. And neuroscience should totally be taught in schools. OMG, how did we miss out on that for so long. And it's taught just as a subject maybe as Behavioural science kahin kahin pe... But uska application, implication koi nahi batana. It's so important if we really want to save this planet. Emotional catastrophy (emotionally weak/unintelligent people) will be so much more challenging to overcome that melting Glaciers. Jab log hi depressed rehne lagenge, apne issues solve nahi kar payenge, tab mil gaye humko mahaan scientists and astronauts and politicians.. Lastly, after this podcast I believe the great Bhagwad Geeta is just Neuroscience in application and lord Sri Krishna is the greatest neuroscientist that could ever have existed ❤ Stoicism is another interesting branch here.

So well said Dr. Sidh... surely our education system MUST include - we are already late, education of self .. emotional awareness & right ways to deal with it .. self knowledge , emotional intelligence / mental health .. it is badly needed in the times to come.. we are already seeing the repercussions of not including it in our education system .
