Yes you could do that if you want to turn them on at the same time, otherwise it's not needed. We have created groups for each room we have in the household.

Hi! You must use the "Magic Home Pro" app because the "Magic Home" app is discontinued. First reset the light strip using this: faqsys.magichue.net:8089/faqIndex.html?tpn=1561240938617&lableID=bbc7d07367a64d53a58e4c0241e5662b&webType=Android It will reset the LED strip and it will start blinking which indicates that it's ready to pair. Then disconnect mobile data and connect to your 2.4 GHz wifi network. Go in the app and follow the instructions. The app will list the LED strip and then it will connect to the LED strip wifi and connect it to your wifi.

That's how RGB works, it mixes red, green and blue to create every color. LED strips are not meant to be a direct lightning solution where you can see the LED strip. It should be used as an accent lightning and hidden from view.

This is to much for just one power supply, that's why it's happening. I don't know that exact solution for this but this is a power issue. You need to either use a bigger power supply or use one power supply for each of the LED strips.

Hey, so I've reset my device, restarted the app, and tried this over 5 times, and it keeps bringing me to the "turn off mobile data" which I've done. Is there a chance that my led controller is just outdated and doesn't work with the new app? It used to work perfectly with the magic home app, and now it won't work with the new magic home pro version. (the controller is nearly 5yrs old) Any thoughts are appreciated!

What do you mean? Do you want the LED strip to react to your music on Spotify? If so, then you can in the app select a music mode which will use your Smartphones microphone to listen to the music and react to it. It works with any music source as it uses your Smartphones microphone.

U go click on the microphone section and u let it sinc to ur microphone and the lights change to the noise it hears. U can go on yt, or speak and it changes. Hope it helps

You can cut them at the other end of the LED strip. There are scissors markings where it is possible to cut the LED strip.

You have to follow the exact same instructions. It will only connect to the LED strip's own Wifi network during the setup process and then connect to your own wifi network.

Hi, I did everything you did. But my colors doesn’t match what I’ve asked. So if I ask green google home gives me blue ish. If I ask yellow he gives me green. In the magic home app the colors works perfect with the color wheel. What could be the problem?

Google Home isn't very good when it comes to that. We have different type of products and most of them require manual selection in the app to get the exact desired color. We usually create "scenes" so that we turn on a scene for different scenarios where we have the colors we like.

Yes it possible to create scenes in the Magic Home app but we haven't got them to work with Google Home as they don't import the. The scenes we have are created in the Hue App and then you can juse say "Hey Google Active "name of the scene".

Yes if you want to mount the LED strip to something in your household. What we do is to reinforce the adhesive with some 3M double sided adhesive tape because the adhesive on the LED strip isn't usually very good.

Hi! You assign names to every light you setup in the Magic Home app and then when you connect the Magic Home app in the Google Home app they will all import with their the different names. You can rename all the lights in the Google Home app if you want to use other names for the lights then what they have in the Magic Home app. Then simply say "Hey Google turn on X".

Try to keep 5 seconds between the power cycles and do it for like 6 times. The reset process isn't flawless and can take some time to work.

Does your AC adaptor have a little LED? There is usually one that should light up either red or blue if the AC adaptor gets power, else it seems that the AC adaptor is faulty.

Yes absolutely but that MagicHome account was for my college apartment. In the family household we have another account for our MagicHome products. Otherwise sync all command is the way to go 👍🏿👌🏿 Now that MagicHome account is connected to another family member's Google account. So I can have my own MagicHome account connected to my Google account.

The LED will blink in all colour when it has successfully been reset. Then you can reconnect like it was new LED strip.

Theres a setting in the app on the light that can change the orientation of the lights. Ex: RGB (Red Green Blue) GRB, BRG, ect.

When inserting the LED strip into the Magic Home Wifi adapter, make sure you put in the right direction. If you use upside down then nothing will happen.

You have to use 2.4GHz for Magic Home products during the connecting process. Then after that you can use 5GHz on your Smartphone.

I'm your WiFi settings on your phone, change it to your 2.4GHz Wifi band. Your router usually have two WiFi networks, one for 5GHz and one for 2.4GHz. Then in the Magic Home connect to your LED strip own Wifi when it's found on the network and connect to your 2.4GHz network. Make sure Mobile Data is off.
