B.Sc. Forensic science is not available in OU. Check out Aditya degree college Surampalem for B.Sc. Forensic science, It is in Andhra near kakinada. Later appear for CPGET of OU for M.Sc Forensic Science admission in OU

The pattern of Entrance Test for Admission into M.Sc. Forensic Science : Candidates have to appear for a common entrance test, namely BCESFSG & M comprising of Part-A (Chemistry for 40 Marks) and Part-B (One of the optional studied at B.Sc. level among the optional subjects: Physics, Botany, Zoology, Genetics, Microbiology and Biochemistry) for 60 Marks.

Osmania syllabus is the best.. there are few placement opportunities and less exposure to the actual competition. You can pursue the course here by a good exploring strategy . If you are just following the course plan and attending classes, then it is not enough.. Attending seminars, conferences, internships, participating in research projects, actively preparing for UGC NET JRF, appearing for various govt exams, doing research right from begining of your course are various add ons for your bright career in forensic science. Future and development of OU Dept of Forensic Science is in the hands of upcoming batches. Unity, Dedication, Diligence, Responsibility, Self Confidence and most importantly leadership qualities are required in your personality. This is not eligibilty criteria for the course, as an alumni of the dept., this is my opinion.
