I came up with this identical formulation 2 years ago and I still swear by it. It's absolutely perfect.

How funny! Were you inspired by the La Roche Posay product as well, or just the general awesomeness of all the ingredients? ❤️

@@HumblebeeAndMe I wasn't even familiar with La Roche at the time. General awesomeness!

Looking forward to trying this. I have a question... Is there anything to beware of if I want to use sodium lactate instead of HLA?
@jennyinthewoods78873 жыл бұрын
You'll probably have a really difficult time getting the sodium lactate to dissolve since this isn't a heated formula. Also, HLA is a much better moisturizer than sodium lactate.

Still desperately need a magical concoction that moisturizes hair. One one thing helped me, and I didn't keep the label and the Indie has since passed away. If it weren't for that experience, I'd say it's impossible. No commercial or Indie product since is of any use. Her's was amazing slippery, in the hand and on the hair. That's the only clue I can offer. If she was able to make a slippery shampoo and conditioner, why can't a commercial manufacturer do that?

Ingredients like marshmellow root and slippery elm adds amazing slip (added to the cool down phase). You can use one or the other (or a combination of both) If you get the dried variety and boil them in water for 10mins. Then squeeze out the mucilage with a cheese cloth or pop sock. 1.5% is the most I've been able to use while keeping the formulation stable. But that's more than enough

Lovely!!!! So easy and quick 😃 We don't need to check ph ? And no preservatives ? Just wanted to know 😊
@HumblebeeAndMe3 жыл бұрын
There absolutely is a preservative in here-please research the ingredients in the Humblebee & Me DIY Encyclopedia (www.humblebeeandme.com/diy-encyclopedia/).

Amazing! Do you know how to make with different molecular weight hyaluronic acids? ❤️
@HumblebeeAndMe3 жыл бұрын
The process would be the same, but different weights do have different potential effects in skincare. Learn more in the Humblebee & Me DIY Encyclopedia (www.humblebeeandme.com/diy-encyclopedia/)!

Hey marie, is there anyway you could formulate a good pure black eyeshadow? I have your book and of course that formula wouldn’t work with black because it would just become grey, and iron oxide alone doesn’t stick to skin so it doesn’t work itself of course, The only way i can get it right is by making liquid eyeshadow but tbh I like pressed powders

I don't have any of the gelling agent. Would it work to leave it out completely and just use the formula as a facial serum?

Hi Marie, I got panthenol gel liquid instead of powder in my area. Can use that and how could it be made of? I don't find any ingredients list on that.
@HumblebeeAndMe3 жыл бұрын
Hey! You'll find the answers you're looking for in the Humblebee & Me Encyclopedia at www.humblebeeandme.com/diy-encyclopedia. Simply look up panthenol. Happy making!
