Oh man I miss Trinidad! I'd fall asleep on the cliff side every single evening. Such a beautiful place to go unwind.

Well done video. Trinidad was my stomping ground for 20 years and I consider it my ancestral home. After 31 years living in Humboldt, the loss of my partner of 40yrs. now buried in Trinidad Cemetery, the loss of my health and through bizarre circumstance becoming homeless in the midst of the Corona Virus I've had to escape to live with my niece in Salt Lake City. My three children couldn't help me and I'm very grateful to my niece. I miss Humboldt County terribly and tonight I had the thought to search youtube for Humboldt, CA and found this. My heart aches.

I can see why you miss home. I have been to Salt Lake city a few times. Nice ppl but it isn't very pretty.

My best friend and I were homeless in Sacramento and asked God to show us a new home. We gave away everything we owned, trusting God at his word, we rode for 9 months down the coast to SD and back up until God showed us Humboldt 😊. We have been living rent free for 8 years at Gem and Mineral museum being their security. God is so good. Trust Him completely...He will give you the desires of your heart. He wants to. Blessings. Ps. We married.

The Trinidad area has the most to beautiful beaches in California. They are never crowded and always stunning. Empty beaches and redwood forests are why I moved to Humboldt and I will never live anywhere else. Nice job capturing about 1/1000th of the beauty here.

I miss Humboldt, I lived there for almost 10years. Lived in Rio Dell, Fortuna and Eureka. Met my wife there. There’s just no jobs up there. Fishing and food foraging is the thing I missed about Humboldt. I would love to retire in Humboldt....such a beautiful and serine place! Love you Humboldt!

Lived in Arcata for a little over a year. It was the most horrible year of my life. Humboldt county may be beautiful, but it has a severe housing shortage, zero economy, and some extremely scummy people running around. It's the most beautiful cesspool I have ever seen. DON'T love you Humboldt!

You can pretty much thank the Sierra Club, and Save the Redwoods for no jobs up there. The spotted owl is more valuable then people. When I was young we used to be able to go into the woods and collect dry tree limbs etc. to use in our wood stoves, cant do that anymore because animals are more important then humans. All that dry dead stuff on the forest floors is whats responsible for the fires spreading so quickly in this state.

This is about the most beautiful and peaceful video I have ever seen on KZbin. The area looks absolutely breathtaking, much like the Oregon Coast. I think its more of a place to visit than to live for many, which is why it is not a populated area. LImited employment and housing and Medical from what I read on the area. So it remains beautiful and uncrowded without massive population growth. I hope it can stay that way for many generations to come. Excellent Video

Only through seeing something about Eureka on TV recently was I attracted to look more into this amazing North California coast line. Now a destination on top of my wish list. It looks a truly wonderful spot to visit. (David. S. Yorks; UK)

David, I live here. I want to move back to the UK, want to trade? lol I now understand why we have a lot of Scots here. Our area reminds me a lot about Scotland.
