I had a complete nervous breakdown sand it was the worst thing I have ever gone through in my life . I turned the corner by realising this was only going to be remotely positive if there was some transformation involved and I was going to have to claw myself back up the abyss . Pluto was conjunct my unaspected Sun xxx

Also, I had a difficult pluto conjunction vis transit and even when i saw it was going to happen i thought it would be fine. When it got to that point, the universe hit me with so much and I too had a nervous breakdown. Almost suicidal. It was one of the worst things for me too. Pluto is no joke! Glad you were able to see it that way and get yourself free.

Thank you. This is such a valuable collection of talks. Astrology has shown me when something can/needs to be changed...or accepted with grace. Going through a difficult time this week, for example, with mars conjunct my Pluto, squaring the nodes. Oh, this change needs to happen. In 3rd house. Painful communication. The discussion of karma is essential, in my opinion...and you've brought this topic forward extremely well. Really grateful. Thank you.

Hey Adam, thanks so much for the 3 part karma talk. You can talk the poetic mystical language beautifully and what makes it even more beautiful is that you can bring it back to Earth just as skillfully. You tell it like it is! So important to me! I'm very excited about taking your class! Can't wait!!!

I *LOVE* this! Maybe it's because I'm a Cappy moon and ascending (Cancer sun) and Saturn is the ruler of my chart. Yes, suffering is key because it builds compassion. This is so spot on about the spiritual path. I like to think this Karmic Game is "Find The Fruits (Keys) Of the Spirit"...compassion, forgiveness, peace...all of those things associated with Love. As we go we learn Fear, Anger, or Sadness are not real to our eternal soul. Clinging to the body "as me" is just not psychologically healthy.

so very comforting to know that God is totally fine with me jamming food into my hair, because learning to use that metaphorical fork is taking way longer than I thought it would. Thank you Adam, your talks always feel oddly relevant to my predicament.

Thank you; this is the compassionate explanation I have been looking for. It is only with this third part of the series that I have been able to understand your perspective. The transit talk at the end, too, demonstrating your process and the approach was helpful to me, so I also thank S. for her life and experience. I appreciate these series more than the horoscopes (which are good but not what I listen for), so I hope you continue to offer them as you are inspired to.

Very helpful and right on talk... you are a beautiful reflection for all of us! I wonder about the word “seeking” but rather relaxing into “being” that comes through our experiences without reactive judgement.
@Adam-Elenbaas5 жыл бұрын
The importance of the word seeking is that it refers to the need to keep the fire of the heart alive...relaxing into being is fine, but actually seeking out love is higher according to the ancient yogic scriptures. When we seek for love, relaxing into being is a natural bi-product of that search, and yet it's not a place to relax forever...we aren't seeking dissolution of self into being, we're seeking communion and living relationship with the source of all being, who is a "Purusha," a person, just as we are. So, for example, in our relationships, while we seek out love and intimacy, there is a way in which relaxing into the "beingness" of the relationship is a feature of the constant search for love that is ongoing and never-ending in the relationship. We grow into the beingness of a marriage, for example, even as we still search out the "other" constantly. But again, we never finally "relax into the being" of a living relationship because to do that would be to kill the need for ongoing experiences, different, new, diverse, never-ending experiences of love. So relaxing into being for Bhakti yogis is part of the rhythm of the ongoing, never-ending, search for divine love but it is not the final goal. The more we search for love, the more the search, even when it surprises us with renewed intensity, is relaxing. Metaphysically speaking, though, relaxation into being is secondary to the search for a never-ending relationship with the person from whom all beings, and beingness, originates. I don't expect you agree, but I thought you might enjoy hearing more about the theology of Bhakti!

Adam Elenbaas well said! that all resonates with me as well. It is like the ups and downs you mentioned in your talk, the ups and downs seems to encompass all things or perhaps the ‘ebb and flow’ of life is another way to speak about the rhythms of life. Thank you for your reply Adam.

Hi Adam. I see your point about loop-holes and trying to by-pass something that is painful, and that it can create more of a mess. So what do you suggest? ... Just do nothing? ... I sense it's important to realize what and whom to say 'yes', or 'no' while it's an existential notion to diminish pain and misfortune in ones life. A vision just pops into my head, kinda like standing at the cash-out and constantly changing lanes because one queue starts to move faster than the other, but then after one has changed lanes the chosen one slows down and the other ones starts to move faster. Does this mean that what actually looks better at first may not be the best choice in the long-run? ... Also, what about people who have not seen a happy life, or a healthy life, or a financially stable life (basically in a constant threat of becoming homeless for example, and/or are homeless, never feeling safe and protected in their environment ... ) or those whom are plagued with an illness for many, many years, getting no break from their misfortune, truly those who are barely surviving, since many people do NOT live a life of plenty, you know, there were one's basic needs are met etc. ... Let's say this goes on for a decade or more, how is this in balance with any up and down wave at all? .... This more looks like some people are always 'down under', or mainly staying 'in the valley' not being able to breathe 'the air up there' where it feels a lot lighter and more at ease, you know. What would you tell those people? .... Only in a balanced life, the ups and downs are basically holding the scales of equality and so many people do not even experience that. It's easy to say those things when generally life is ok. It looks a whole lot different when not in a balanced situation for a long time. .... hmmmmm ..... ! I will continue to listen to your 3rd part of this, as I'm only about twelve to thirteen minutes into it. Maybe you'll speak about this later on ..... If not, would you like to elaborate on situations where most part of people's life is just simply rooted in a lot of crap? ... meaning where there is some sort of hopelessness that it's ever going to get any better? - often due to a lack of a real tangible perspective - ... like anytime you just make a few steps forward something else happens and you're rug is completely pulled under your feet again! ... almost like a pattern that keeps re-occurring, where there is hardly enough time to come up to gasp for air, until being pushed under water again, and again. Experiences can get a being to grow fearful of life itself, losing any sense of purpose about life itself, and also growing really tired of it, since the physical body takes its toll as well and often starts to hurt too. Such is not life, but torture!... and when hope is lost, why would anyone then care to stick around here, and NOT opt out? ... so those boundaries, those ties are finally cut? Thanks for any insights and advice you could give with this.

Pain is inevitable suffering is optional
@Ya_Love5 жыл бұрын
You know what's the worst thing while suffering? ... When there are ignorant people around you, like what you say 'get over it!" - those type of people, you know, or those that start to point ones finger at you claiming 'that it's your own fault' etc .... Those judgements from others who don't have a slightest clue what another individual goes through personally, because they are not in their body, they do not feel, see, hear, smell, taste with these particular senses, haven't walked in that individual's life path, but then are proclaiming those things. The trouble is that we live in a world of utter homogenization, where people are forced to fit an artificial and mental frame-work so their life-force-energy can be harvest best by a few. We still live in a PyramidSCAM-System of 'modern slavery' and this isn't going to ever change as long as the collective keeps on walking around with a mind-set that is believing into obedience to some 'higher uppers' on the mundane FAKE world, rather than to honor their own life-force, where they've been given a body by NaTuRe herself, and to stand in ones own authority while respecting others to do the same. This world lacks Basic Human Respect! There is a reason why this is also called 'prison-planet' (a divination from the prisma!), and that in ways where there is a lot of coercion, where people's so called 'free will' is placed under duress, because they often never get to live-out that what is truly themselves, and what they actually came here to be and to share. This world is in chaos, and I'm sensing that there is a glitch in this matrix, and it's befallen by some parasite or virus, so to speak. What humanity truly is to realize is that each individual being should run a virus-cleaner-program and then build a fire-wall for safe-guarding! ... however the case this may look like, I don't know. In analogy this reminds me of any computer-system, that does not leave its door wide open for anything or anyone to infiltrate its existence, you know.
