Hey bro. Thanks for the video I really apreciate it. I left 2 guitars in a hard case because I leave the country for two weeks. I go back and find that both are buzzing in the firsts frets. I live in a very wet City. I tryed to adjust it but it does not work. Is the lack of humidity the problem or the high level of it what affect the instrument? What should I do?

It sounds like the high humidity is the problem. I’m not a luthier or a guitar tech, but I’d try the D’Addario maintain humidpak. Just follow the directions on the package. May also try running a a hydrometer in your home where your guitars are to watch the humidity level, guitars do best between 40-60% humidity. It’s humid here in Texas as well, I might also recommend a dehumidifier to level out the humidity inside your place.

Yeah it’s playing great now after all the humidity and a proper setup. I’ve gotta keep it in the case with a humidpak all the time though.

So if you live in a drafty, rickety old shack in the rain forest and have no control over humidity, is there any solution? I mean other than saving up for a carbon fiber instrument...

Personally, I’d be saving money to live somewhere nicer. Maybe consult Tarzan about an insulated tree house?
