Hummer H2 stuck key and shifter

My stick handle in my 2005 H2 actually BROKE at the joint and pinched the yellow plastic piece up in the channel...i think it was thin metal or cheap aluminum...having to order a replacement center console/shifter assembly...glad you made this video on the assembly/disassembly of that unit...saving me tons of money...now if i could just find an inexpensive shifter knob replacment i'll be all set!

@@GypsyDiy Stuck in the cylinder? There is a release button under the plastic by the key cylinder.

How did it work after you polished the plastic tab?

Good I sold the truck shortly after so I can say how long it lasted.
