Over 200 thousand miles still running. 06 h3. Your correct about all. But they last and run good if you take care of it. Im keeping mine. It's reliable and strong. Looks brand new. I have to humble myself whenever i take to the shop for big stuff I can't fix myself. They are always amazed how good it runs and looks inside and under the vehicle. Yes I pressure wash under the truck and engine bay from time to time.

I have a 2006 H3 5 Speed for over 9 years with 273k miles. Since then replaced the radiators twice, heat resistor twice, wheel bearings twice, camshaft solenoid valve x 3, valve cover gaskets and rebuild the transmission. The TPM is on but I read that the batteries in them only last for 5 years. I figured out how to bypass the passcode lock so you don't have to wait 10 minutes or replace the ignition switch. She's old but she still looks good on the exterior and interior. I usually budget for repairs every year. My family and friends always tell me to get rid of it but I'm like "No Way I love it!"

I have almost 200,000 miles on my 07 and every single one of these problems has popped up that sometime or another. I still love this truck. But you know what they say. Sometimes love can get you in big trouble.

Haha I’ve had almost all these problems. I have a 07 with 185000 miles on it. I still have the truck and still love it and would do it all over again if they till made them.

2008 H3 Alpha with 5.3L V8, 40.000 miles, price: $25.500 or… 2007 H3 Safari Edition pkg (Lifted) 3.7L 245hp, 97.000 miles, price: $17.300 or… 2006 H3 3.5L, 223hp, including Rear Diff Locker, 87.000 miles, price: $13.500 or finally… 2009 H3 3.7, 245hp, Lifted incl. Rear Diff Locker, 44.000 miles, price: $19.000. I am not atm a "Rock Climber" or yet an "Overlander", but I want to have a capable car in snow as I live far up north in Scandinavia. Q - Are the 3.5's and 3.7's enough? I have heard that they are not optimized for such a heavy vehicle. Q - Vere/Are there problems with the 3.5/3.7's with overheating or " oil boiling"? Thoughts..?

They are fairly reliable if you keep up on the maintenance religiously.

My 2007 H3 w/over 200k has had every thing you mentioned. A new problem just came up. At low idle the oil light on the dash comes on and chimes. I drive, it stops. I changed the oil but it persists. How do I fix it?
@jeaninejoe98013 ай бұрын
sounds like it might be a 0il sending unit,oil pressure sensor maybe. worth a look see

My moms hummer h3 shakes hard left and right when braking. Don’t think it’s warped rotors as it literally pulse shakes pretty hard left and right. Is it rotors or possibly something else

GM used to make reliable vehicles. Hummer is just for looks but not sturdy parts were used in making it.
