You clearly have very well established inbreeding skills and probably Klismaphilia in your constant reference to buttholes, mothers, piggys and other unfortunate farmyard animals that are unfortunate enough to come in contact with you. Still... your idiotic hyena cackle when abusing the piggies and other unfortunate critters will make you feel better about it all :-P

Ahhh the H1's are such cool rigs, one of these days I've gotta add one to my garage right next to the powerstroked F250 SD and Wrangler! This one though looked like it could have used a little bit of a knobbier tire though! The guy running the street tired H2 had some balls!

And btw @DRTYFN try reducing tires pressure to 15 psi or below.. works great on both sand and mud.. Make them softer and makes them spin less than high psi.. Trust me.. personal experience
@toddklekotka334010 жыл бұрын
Looks like a blast. I like Hummers. Its funny people say they are not real off road vehicles, well the military uses them and they made sure it was capable before switching from the jeeps. Its more the driver than the vehicle. Having the right tires help too. If I follow you, watch me pass you, and no I do not pick up hitch hikers! I have many years experience driving in mud, trails, and snow. I have found my Jeep grand Cherokee to be a damn good match for me.

@98MAzdaMilleniaS I run a Spartan locker in the front, but have a Dana 35 with LSD in the rear. I, too, changed my gears to 3.55:1. I also have the AX-15. I kept the 31s when I went to 4.5" of lift, since I didn't want to put too much stress on the 35 and don't want to regear again. I am going to change the rear to an 8.8 pretty soon. I just got this Jeep (96 XJ) back in Aug. which it was bone stock with only 90k miles!

these HUMMERz are great. it takes some real balls to handle this sort of power. I had an H2 a few years back, used to take it down Cadwell Park for a lap or two when the British Superbikes was on. It was going alright, close to breaking the course record then Carl Fogarty says to me, "Come on now Jizzspraya, get off the circuit, we've got to run the second British Superbike race". Yeah HummerZ are mint.

sorry for all the comments, but when the hummer with the winch got stuck, why not hook the winch to one of the other trucks and pull your way out , just to get use outta the winch.. that way you can just give that slight pull you need .. if i bought a winch id use it all the time when stuck to justify it

I notice NOT a constant throttle using the momentum of the vehicle, at least that's how my dad learned me driving Landrover through the most difficult stuff; gentle on the throttle as constant as possible gentle changes to make a run for it when needed, easing off to maintain traction..
@camaroman10113 жыл бұрын
@dodgerams639 if it was a military spec humvee w/ its off-road knobby tires, it would have made it for sure. the tires on a civilian hummer can have very little tread. with mudding its all about the tires, thats why they even make specific "mudding tires"

There are 40 million things that have to be taken into account on each of the vehicles. Weight to power ratio, tire size and grip, ground clearance and such. Actual humvees are heavy and underpowered with the 6.2 N/A engine. With the correct goodyear factory tires at 37 inches and the tread pattern they have it could have done substantially better and as well having the 6.5 Turbo in it was much more powerful than the older 6.2.

H1 is a 6.5 gm diesel. And by the way the dodge cummins rates bout 2 times as much torque and bout 1.5 more time horse then a stock 6.0 and bout 3 times more torque and 2 time more horse than a 6.5 diesel so that dodge was completely capable of doin what the hammers were considering it had the right tires to

@NVJeepXJ Ewww Dana 35 haha. Don't go bigger then 31's. Dana 44's are common in junkyards, you should get one. 8.8 is also good option but the 44 has cheaper parts and slightly larger aftermarket, but you can get disc brakes with 8.8. I just test drove a 99 XJ np231 for $3900, feels sluggish but solid for 200k miles. XJs are a dime a dozen in oklahoma and dang good deal !
