I have a new gen 4 solix 15, and trying to enter in some GPS coordinates that i have on my other sounder. But I cant for the life of me see where I can manually enter in any marks.

So I will be up front and say I have only done that a few times and off the top of my head I do not recall the sequence. That said, when I did it, I used the USER MANUAL to do it. Have you tried the user manual? Also, if your super stuck. I suggest Customer Support. Be at the boat when you call or request a call back. Might I suggest using the One Boat Network app and click ask for support. They will even call you back on the weekends. Very responsive!

I’m new to this, so excuse my ignorance. I have a 19’ boat with a 12” Solix at the drivers seat and a 10” Solix I can move to the front or the back of the boat. The system is wired and networked together. Do I need to do the custom install (because I didn’t do that) in order for the 10” to be a slave to the 12”? When I have the 10” in the front, the 10” does not read off of my Minnkota trolling motors transducer.

Great video! I am planning to network two Solix’ units together and was wondering if you have experienced any networking or interference issues, or any other issues with the units. Thanks, Tony

I have not. Keep in mind the "Rule of 3". As soon as you connect 3 items, you will need a 5 port ethernet hub. So if you have two graphs and you add a 3rd item, such as Minn Kota Ultrex or Humminbird radar, you will need an ethernet hub, specific to humminbird. It is not a NMEA 2000 backbone. Make sure to make up the excess line(s) appropriately. Also, if you are getting any kind of noise on your units, it may come from electrical interference. So, never wire your graphs into the boats wiring. Run its own power direct top the battery/battery switch. Also, make sure the transducer cable excess is collected appropriately.

@@ridgetoriveroutdoors Thank you for the information! I'll try to keep all of it in mind as things come along with my fish finder setup.

Plz apex16 begging setup
@ridgetoriveroutdoors Жыл бұрын
The setup for Apex 16 is exactly the same as Apex. The differences between Apex and Solix are not in the software. It is the added connections on the back of the unit, ie hdmi in/out, additional ethernet port, etc.
