Ahhhh more hummingbird videos are always the best thing to watch even during tiring times. There’s something so calming and special that this mommy hummingbird is doing when she perfectly weaves her nest for her beautiful babies. I love all of these videos and I will have my dad watch it as well. He adores hummingbirds, too!

Hummingbird nest are very small and the birds do a great job at camouflaging their nest. This year I got 2 hummingbird nest one in my guava tree and one in my papaya tree rigth at eye level you would never notice it until someone points rigth at it......they are truly magnificent feel so happy to be so close to the whole experience always with a respectful distance .......

In my whole life, I've only seen two hummingbirds "live", so to speak. The other was feeding from a flower one of my mother's friends had planted. The other was drinking from a feeder my niece had set up. Both of them were delightful to see.

Interesting. I had never heard of a hummingbird that spent its winters in Northern regions. I figured that they all would migrate to warmer, Southern places. Looks like Anna's hummers are the exception.

It is Amazing what birds will use - I have found a hummingbird nest on the property (25 acres) many Robin nests, grouse, turkey, sparrows and on...Everyone had either/or - or - both Horse hair or dog hair - we have 60 - 75 dogs on average and two horses in the front field! Amazing nest building materials!

Very good video of humming bird making her nest. In India sin small town of Gujarat hot climates are in summer. Have show many of theirs nest hanging. Also saw close by drinking water from our water pot kept outside and go away any time. But it come again to drink water after some time. GOD bless keep more of video of this sort!!!

I usually get the ruby-throated in the summer. They weave with spider webs, twigs leaves, et cetera. They also plant things on the outside for camouflage.

i was about a wash my dirtbike in my backyard earlier, heard a noise and looked back and there was a branch about my height, with a chubby lil hummingbird in it nesting 2 eggs!! I couldn't wash my bike and scare her away. had to put everything back, the bird rules this part of the backyard now, theres a hen about!!

My mom saw a humming bird nest today. I went out and saw that it was unfinished but it had done a great job building it on a light!. I saw the hummingbird come but i think it knew that it had to move elshewhere and that light was not safe for it too. So sadly we have to demolish its unfinished home. I hope the poor bird gets the courage to build a new one.

Well that is one thing for sure I've never seen.. The little buggers come in and drink gallons of nectar and fly away at 40 MPH to this secret location to nest.. Have no idea how the videographer found her.. Really cool to see what they do after a feeding frenzy all day.. Heard they hibernate every night.
