In short 2 kami- 1. Seat cover nahi lag sakta aage kyunki air bag hai. ( no car with seat air bag is suppused to have seat cover). 2. 7 seater car with not so big luggage space. ( no other car with this price have any space.) Dono point koi negative nahi hai. Car lene se pehle har koi space dekhta hai... Kia carens is great car. In top model seat cover nahi hota hai.. Seat leader ki hoti hai.

My Younger Brother has Kia Carens, 2nd base model. Fully satisfied with this car, 6 airbags, all wheels disc brakes, spacious & nice interior, front & rear parking sensors, 3rd row comfort is better than XL6/Ertiga and after sales service is excellent. (in 13 lakh on road price)

Adding to your point that Kia is not recommending putting luggage carrier but apart from that installation of luggage carrier on private cars is banned all over India as per the MV Act. It is only allowed on Commercial number plate cars with some restriction regarding height and width. So that's a problem with all cars. TC

What rubbish! Carriers are allowed on any car in India as long as the weight loads are correctly maintained and it’s not overloaded. Only front and back bull bars are prohibited and that also when the court ruled that they pose a big danger to the vehicle/pedestrian that may come in contact with the car due to any unfortunate accident

Carrier is already illegal if your vehicle in a private vehicle. For seat cover I think it can be installed in all the rear seats. Only the front two seats are equipped with airbags. Generally seat over does not void the warranty as it is not a modification and does not require any electronic changes.

Ground Clearance Ertiga ka 180mm h while Carens has 195mm. 5. Prestige ki range m Kia alloy wheels deti h jabki Ertiga alloy wheels nahi deti. 6. Interior of Carens is far attractive as compared to Ertiga. 7. Ertiga has small Touch screen while Kia Carens has bigger touch Screen. 8. Carens ka boot space jyada hai as compared to Ertiga. Hence Proved Carens is better in all formats as compared to Ertiga.

It is the best 7 seater, I have luxury plus AT. Best milage On Highways, i get minimum 22 kmpl. Couple of times only on highway i achieved 28kmpl. 3rd row can accommodate an adult and is better then most of the other 7 seaters except Innova.
