Anna, I'm 68, had rheumatic (carditis) fever when I was 13, enlarged heart from a streptoccus infection. I lost 3 months of school, luckily my doctor prescribed penicillin shots each month for 3 years(!) until I got smarter and took the tablets. I survived with few ill effects. You will survive this virus with modern medicine and get old as I am. Enjoy every day as a youth because that is what we old folks miss so much.

What a brave girl you are! I too have a problem that I laugh at every day. I lost the bone in my upper jaw; no one knows where it went. So I always tell people "it took up residence in someone else's body" and they think I am hysterical! It's not something that is funny as there is no way to repair it but it helps me get through my day with at sitting & crying! I am much older than you; being in my 60's & I lost my husband a year ago. I have no children only cats & they always say to me (in their meowy kind of way….hey mom, you are beautiful; no matter what anyone says!) So I commend you for your bravery, love of life, and the ability to laugh at yourself!

The x-ray after pneumonia is the same way our daughter's enlarged heart was found. I'm so happy Anna is doing great after her transplant. I hope our daughter does just as well.

My heart was outter when i was a little kid next kind to my chest and it healed down.

Sounds like what happened to Sophia Sanchez.They told her mom it was all in her head !! She got the transplant and is doing great !! Good luck to you !!
