This is a REAL thing and is caused by taste bud differences. So thanks Mum, for forcing me to choke down bitter boiled frickin' peas for my entire childhood. I wasn't fussy, my body was rejecting a poisonous element !! I HATE you !!!

I tried avocado in so many forms and just don’t get it. The same thing happened with sushi… I was told it’s an “acquired taste”, but I only acquired needing a bathroom to throw up in. I tried starting with salmon but it got to a point I just couldn’t make myself eat it anymore. The cold rice did not help, or the taste of soap from the ginger. My father in law insisted on me trying other stuff but after my 5th or 6th outing I just told him I only like cooked fish and hot rice. So we got tacos, and sure enough the avocado made an appearance…

If anyone made me a Croissantosaurus, I would marry them. I am a 67 yo CIS Caucasian Boomer Muslim, and I would not give a damn if they were male, female, gay, bi, an Apache Attack Helicopter,. or even 3 Martians in a Trench Coat out trying to buy beer. How about we fill the next with Coconut Pudding, and dip it in chocolate? Oh, and 3:55 "Living alone." Had a roomie who would do this to his cheese, just to make sure no one else in the house would try to use it.

OMG the avocado one, THANK YOU! Green stuff tastes like grass to me all I can taste is the chlorophyll. I do love me some guacamole when done right though. I would not be able to eat a croissantosaurus either it's too cute.

Well you don’t eat it alone! You add the avocado in the right amount to enhance other flavors. Like salt. Or to lessen the heat in some things. As a condiment, it’s good. On its own? Not so much.
