Humpback Whales Trumpet at Killer Whales feeding on a Gray Whale Calf!

Humpback Whales were trumpet blowing and interfering as Killer Whales fed on their latest Gray Whale Calf today! This is the SEVENTH attack that we know about in the last twelve days, with Emma and her family involved in each event! Although yesterday's gray whale calf escaped, this morning they found a different calf and fed in the bay. You do realise that they are basically trying to also starve baby orcas and the entire pod by doing that right? Orcas are hunting whales so then one of those whales decides to be a jerk, not out of necessity but just because they are mad at orcas. I don't get why people are saying they are majestic or something that's like if I killed all the lions there are in the world to "save the prey because I don't like lions" it's just whales being immature as fuck for what is basically human intelligence

Drowning young whales isnt what super heroes do. The orcas are like hyenas that scavenge hunt and eat everything. They are also very wasteful in that they only eat certain parts of their kills

Interfering or harassing marine mammals is illegal....even though gray whales are endangered. Transient killer whales need to eat as well. It is sad to see a young whale loss its life, but its best to leave the whales alone and let them do what they have done for thousands of years.

@@CleverClover2023 It may be illegal, but if you wait too long to change that, there will be too few and then you will HAVE to interfere... And whales will not be so easy to bring back as is waterfowl and land mammals which can be bred in captivity. Better to think of a way to protect them in the bays now... Not trying to tell you all what to do,but these creatures were given to us by the Creator to take care of and they belong to all of us...

@@CleverClover2023 Orcas are the wolves of the sea. We have land wolves in our area of the country that have been transplanted from another place. They were not originally from this area and they are decimating our deer and large bird population . Our tribal people depend on the deer for their survival, especially the elderly who have no income. We have to control the wolves, they have no natural predator & if left unchecked, they will eventually wipe out all the large prey animals & birds. (swans & geese) What would be next? They already attack our livestock & pets. Better to control the predators than allow future generations of other animals to be wiped out.... It is not interfering to properly manage populations....

It is amazing footage and those humpback 🐋 whales are know to have true compassion for all life! However, ORCAS are the most intelligent, family oriented, cultured APEX predator that also need to eat and they share every kill with the entire pod! Whales 🐳 are what they eat! Besides humanity has been busy raping the oceans 🌊 thank god the whales 🐳 and the orcas are coming back !! It’s sad for the baby whale but it would be sad for Emma’s family to starve to death and die like the salmon eating resident orca pod of the northwest!
