This is a folk song (and party song) from the Urad and Ordos regions of Southern Mongolia. Hun Galuu means “swan”. lyrics goes like this: White swan geese Diving and living in the reedy lake When my friends* from afar come We party for days and nights * the original lyrics say “relatives” (torluud) but recently it got corrupted and became “friends”

I studied Buddha in Brisbane , and went to a Mongolian restaurant in the city , they played the music that spoke to my inner soul, 10 years ago I returned to my home New Zealand and I’m lost …. Now I’m unwell , a disease is tearing me apart .ll When I listen to you playing especially throat singing , I get tears , to you , wife and family, I wish you good health and happiness…keep playing and be the amazing artist you are
